Sitting under a tree,
Sitting as calm as can be,
Warm under the sun,
A song unsung,
Cries in the glassy sky,
Hoping to hold you soon,

Every little life has a soul,
Is God listening, does He know?
Are we alone, is love still who we are?
Would you save a life?
Would you love or hide?

Underneath someone's sky,
Neither yours and neither mine,
Waiting for a smile,
Faces spread for miles,
Would you save yourself?
Would you cry for everyone else?
Would you give them your hand?
Or will you let them drown?
