Barbara tells Adam of Jennifer's impending arrival from camp. Later, when Jennifer (Kim Onasch's first airdate) does arrive, Barbara is stunned by her daughter's transformation into a sophisticated teenager.

As Jennifer tries on her bridesmaid gown, Barbara reveals that Adam is moving in
with them. Jennifer isn't pleased. Similarly, Hal tells Adam that Jennifer will be living with them, and Adam's not pleased either! The two teens encounter each
other, playing cat-and-mouse while revealing that they don't want to share
space with a stepsibling. Jennifer warns Adam not to make waves, wanting this
wedding to come off without a hitch. Adam sees that Jennifer is definitely
Barbara's daughter!

Everyone prepares for Hal and Barbara's surprise engagement party. Hal and Barbara arrive and are thrilled by the surprise party, especially because Adam
helped set it up. However, Jennifer isn't happy, unprepared for a formal affair.
Adam tells her to calm down. He toasts his new family.
