DIRECTORY OF PAINTINGS.
I am currently loading all images on this site into these files which segregate my life and work into periods and subjects that are important to me.
1.The Primitive period. the largest part of this collecton, 1967-1989.
2.The Education period the time that I was killing my primitive soul,1989-1992.
3.The Post Education period, presenting the newly educated artist, 1992 until NOW
4.Fake frames (frames painted on the painting) are a subject matter that have been in my works since I had the FAKE ART GALLERY, 1971 and 1972 in Santa Barbara. My latest paintings, done since my operation, have also grown fake frames.
5.The Oslo paintings from 1995 are actually post education.
6.The subject of
Portraits is timeless.
(Incidentally 1999 was not a very productive year because of an attack of Iritis that blinded me most of the year and left me with cataracts on both eyes. As of 2000, with the cataracts removed, I can see again with both eyes 20/20+.)
