We feel that these four artists were a major part of the rebirth of culture in Europe because of how they expressed new ideas and thoughts through their amazing works. People could look at their works and respect the artists, and use the ideas and thoughts that they expressed in their own life. They could do this by either putting them into practice in their own line of work or realizing that they could express their ideas through their work. People looked up to these four artists, and realized that what they were doing was giving people a new light to look upon life after some dark times. They revived a new spirit in the people, one that would inspire the people to try to inspire other people and give something back to their friends and community. The four artists we have discussed on this website have been important for all the reasons above and for helping found the culture that the Renaissance is famous for.
Donatello, Michelangelo, Raphael, and Leonardo da Vinci's works have been looked at by people throughout history since they were first created, and have inspired artists to this day. Many of their works can be found in the Louvre, or other famous art museums around the world. These pieces of history remain intact and can still be admired by people and will still be admired by people in the future. Although people today can't directly see the rebirth of culture that occurred long ago, they can see a piece of it through the masterpieces of the artists. These works are a permanent reminder of the Renaissance, and a reminder of what artists at the time of the Renaissance helped to create in Europe. They created a more advanced civilization where people could enjoy living and investing in the arts rather than just investing in supplies to survive.
Through our project, we have discovered how art can truly change the thoughts of people and how powerful art can be. We feel art is a very important piece of our lives and of who we are. We also feel art needs to be preserved for years to come so that others can continue to enjoy and benefit from these works of art through their own projects. New artists can look at these pieces for inspiration and use their own art as a way to impact the thoughts of other people. In turn, this may help bring new life to people who have fallen into a dark time or mood where they feel life is not worth living. Leonardo, Raphael, Michelangelo, and Donatello are some of the most talented artists of all time and played very important roles in world history.
