Capt. William Ward Smith Memorial

USAF Capt. William Ward Smith: Killed in Action July 23, 1966 in the Vietnam War.

I have adopted Capt. Smith through Operation Just Cause. He was from my home state of Arkansas. He is listed as Killed In Action/Body Not Recovered. There are still many of our POW's/MIA's who have not been recovered, and realistically, may never be. We should never forget though what these brave soldiers have done for all Americans. They gave all. Please remember those who were once forgotten.

This poem was cross-stitched, framed and sold at a local arts and crafts show about 15 years ago. My aunt bought it for my uncle and still has it displayed in her home today.

I saw this phrase on another webpage and decided to create my own graphical version. The photo I found at Webshots.
