F/S Shove-it: Ok. I ride goofy, so I'll describe this for someone who rides goofy.
The nose of your board will rotate behind you, and obviously, does a
shove it. Here's what I go through to do this trick (you may find them
easier Riding Fakie):
1) When you have your back foot on the tail, put it closer to the edge,
(where a lot of your heel and foot is hanging off).
2) Put your front foot close to the front truck bolts, almost in normal
ollie position.
3) Snap your back foot backwards, while pushing down (popping the
board) at the same time. With your front foot, try to help the board to
rotate. Snap quickly, or else it won't rotate quick enough.
If you cannot seem to get the spin, just keep at it, it took me a while
to learn the FS shove it, since I was used to Backside's. When you do
this, at first, you'll have to jump backwards a little to land on the
board. The better you get at it, you won't have to jump as far back, and
can get more air. Try this fakie a couple times, and see if it's
easier.
