Community development
programs provide concrete educational programs, planning processes, and
technical assistance that assist community leaders as they engage their
communities, describe their desired futures, address critical issues,
and move to action.
Projects that the Independence County Extension Service have assisted with recently include the Independence County Recycling Program, the Master Gardener Beautification Projects, the County Fair and Leadership Development.
