(Additional evidence of ALH being properly pronounced as "Allah" is in the Hebrew word "alah" (meaning 'to ascend', spelled "Ayin, Lamed, He" ALH) pronounced as "aw-law" from which is derived the Hebrew words:
Al (pronounced as "awl") meaning 'most High' translated twice in the book of Habakkuk as 'most High', and
Aly (Ayin, Lamed, Yod) pronounced as "Al-lah-ee" meaning 'Supreme, most High': this word is used 10 times in the book of Daniel from 3:26 to 7:25 translated each time as "most High"
The exact references are, in the book of Ezra: from 4:24 to 6:18 every time the word "God" appears in the English text (27 times), the Hebrew word is ALH. And again, from 7:12 to 7:26 every time the English text has "God" (16 times) the Hebrew word is ALH.
This same Chaldean word, spelled in Hebrew ALH, is used from Daniel 2:18 to 9:26 a total of 35 times, translated as "God" each time. It is also translated as "gods" 13 additional times in the book of Daniel.
A Hebrew word likewise spelled "ALH" but rendered "Eloah" by Hebraists, is used 40 times in the book of Job in reference to the Most High, thus translated as "God".
These references are:
Job 3:4,23; 4:9,17; 5:17; 6:4,8,9; 9:13; 10:2; 11:5,6,7; 12:4,6; 15:8; 16:20,21; 19:6,21,26; 21:9,19; 22:12,26; 24:12; 27:3,8,10; 29:2,4; 31:2,6; 33:12,26; 35:10; 37:15,22; 39:17: 40:2
ALH rendered by Hebraists as "Eloah" is also used in Deuteronomy 32:15,17; 2Chronicles 32:15 (here translated as "god"), Nehemiah 9:17, Psalm 18:31, 50:22; 114:7; 139:19; Proverbs 30:5, Isaiah 44:8; Daniel 11:37,38,39; and Habakkuk 3:3
Even going beyond what is written above, the word "Elohim" (pronounced by Hebrew speakers as al-lah-ym is used daily in prayer by every Muslim on earth, since they call on Allah in Arabic addressing Him as "Allahum" !

At long last, the Aramaic text of the New Testament (Matthew through Acts at least) is online with a concordance and lexicon at
The following page from their Aramaic Lexicon shows that Messiah Yahshua, speaking Aramaic, used the name of AaLaHaA (Alah):
LexiconWord:0hl0 (ALHA read right to left)
Root:hl0
Word Number:905
Meaning:God
Pronunciation: (Eastern) AaLaHaA
(Western) AaLoHoA
Part of Speech:Noun
Gender:Masculine
Number:Singular
Seeing that every time the word "God" is used in the English New Testament, in Aramaic it is Alah or some derivative of Alah, Christians can now read their English Bible translations and everytime they see the word "God" they can read aloud the name Allah, the name Yahshua used in reference to the Most High!

The following information is from this site:
http://www.onhigh.org/ExlainYourName2.htm
-------------------------------------------------------
What I will show you is that the Hebrew Name of our Creator, Y-H-W-H (with vowels, Yah-weh or Yah-u-weh), is an abbreviated form of YH-HW-YH (with vowels, YAH-HU-WEH), in the third person (He) and means "He who was (causes to be), shall be." Yah-Hu-Yeh (Was, He Shall) is shortened to Yah-u-eh or Yah-u-weh or Yah-weh.
Moses continues in Exodus 3:14-15:
And Elohim said unto Mosheh, "I Will Be As I Will Be (AHYH AShR AHYH) (or, "I Am As I Will Be")." And He said, Thus shall you say to the children of Yisra'el, "I will be ( ehYeh or ehYah ) has sent me to you.'"
Above, The Almighty speaks in the First Person Future Tense - I will be. To speak in the Third Person we would say - He will be. In the original Hebrew language the word for "He" is HU(A)
For us to explain the meaning of His Name to others we would have to say He will be As He will be .
Tell them EH YAH has sent you. That's first person. Only He can say: "I cause to be". We must say: "He causes to be" has sent me.
I say to you people of Yisra'el that "He who causes to be and will be" has sent me." Or, as Revelation has informed us "He who was and is and who is to come" has sent me. This emphasizes his Eternal Nature. This is what we are saying when we say,
"Yah-weh" has sent me to you.
Ya -HU(w) - EH
"He Who Was & Will Be" has sent me to you.
==================(end of site quote)==================
Thus, you can see that the "name" YHWH is actually a description of Him: He will be what he will be. In the Quran, the name Huwa is also a description: He who IS.
Note the equality of the Hebrew HU(A) and the Ababic HUWA.
He revealed Himself to Muhammad as Allah, the Highest, and that name is right in accord with every other name given Him in the Bible. As you can see from the Aramaic link posted earlier, Yahshua also used that name Allah .
