John Wesley BROOKS (known as Wes), son of Solomon William and Susa Elizabeth THOMPSON BROOKS, was born 22 OCT 1886 in Ripley County, Missouri and died 30 OCT 1960 in a hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. John married Ora Henrietta "Retta" MCDOWELL on 2 MAR 1907 in Ripley County, Missouri. Retta, daughter of Ganium and Amy Jane LASSEN MCDOWELL, was born 5 Jul 1890 in Ripley County, Missouri and died 7 APR 1968 in a hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.

Wes and Retta are both buried in Macedonia Cemetery in Ripley County Missouri.



Wes and Retta had the following children:
