1. One set of plain work robes (black)
2. One plain pointed hat (black) for day wear
3. One pair of protective gloves (dragon hide or similar)
4. One winter cloak (black, silver fastenings)

1st years will require the following additional books:

A Beginner's Guide to Transfiguration

2nd years will require the following additional books:
The Standard Book of Spells (Grade 2)
Second years will NOT be required to purchase the Gilderoy Lockhart books!!

3rd years will require the following additional books:
The Standard Book of Spells (Grade 3)
Intermediate Transfiguration
Encyclopedia of Monsters (ONLY for students taking COMC)
Unfogging the Future (ONLY for students taking Divination)

1 cauldron
1 set glass or crystal phials
1 telescope
1 set brass scales
Students may also bring an owl OR a cat OR a toad
