In my 68 years, I have had dozens of pets,
a pigmy goat named " Zip" that loved his fresh salad
everyday and would gently butt me when I was
readying it , named " Geronimo" that followed
me as a dog would ..a ferret named " Fara" that was
playful and loving ...many dogs, cats, and rabbits.
Far too many to list."Yes they are gone but each of
them have a chapter in my life and will always
remain in my memories.".... Jules

This page is dedicated to my two
Beloved and Faithful dogs
~ "Bandit" and "Shadow" ~
" Your memories are deep within my heart!! "

In Loving Memory of my Siberian Husky
" Bandit "

" Bandit " was born Feb. 5th 1984 and died Jan. 10th 1994
of congestive heart failure. He was a true loyal friend, protector,
and companion. Bandit had the most beautiful baby blue
eyes and a three leaf clover on his brow.
He loved to be outdoors so we could play with his basketball.
His favorite toy was his 'stuffed Tiger' (as shown).
When we went for walks (he walked me *smiles")...
people would see him coming and get about 8 feet away..
little did they know he was as gentle and loving as a baby lamb.
" You are truly missed my friend..but your memory is with me 'forever."

" In Loving Memory of my Cocker Spaniel

"Shadow" was indeed a shadow, he followed me around everywhere. He and I were buddy's *smile* and he knew it!!
He had many toys but his favorite was his 'white' ball, the one he is carrying around in this pic *smiles*.
"Shadow" lost a hard fought and painful battle even after extensive therapy and had to be put to sleep 11/2/99, from osteo-arthritis.
He will be greatly missed but I shall hold dear his memory forever.

This pic is " Angel ", my friend Rose's ' Russian Blue.'
She and my Shadow were net-friends :-)
Angel would adore having you visit her homepage which includes pic's of her many poses, and text about "Russian Blues."
Just click on Angel's pic to visit please.

" My new love "Sparky"

Sparky and I became family on June 16, 2000, he was 4 weeks old and weighed 2 lbs. 1 oz. ... a handful indeed *S*
he is a pure 'Rat Terrier'.
Today at the vets he weighed in at 3 lbs. 3 ozs.
an ole 'fatty' hehehe!!
Sparky was a birthday gift from my son Ray because he knew I was lonely at not having a dog around.
The pic above was taken on July 11th, my son Robert put the Crisco can on the floor to show the comparison of size *S*. He is so adorable and very playful, also very 'frisky'.
My son's and their family fell in love with him
and they keep trying to hide him under
their shirts to sneak him home with them :-)
I think Sparky and I will be "very happy and have a long life together."

"Woof's and Purr's" for Ms. Doris Day ..
'animal rights activist.'

"The animals can't lobby Congress, they can't vote and speak out against the
agonizing tortures being inflicted on them every day. We must do it for them."
Ms. Doris Day

What would you say if you could see me here?
I'd hold my breath and quiet my fear.
Please look at me, don't turn away.
Just touch my cage and brighten my day.
Reach out your hand and so gently touch,
If you could take me home, I won't ask for much.
Life's too short not to feel your love.
Free me now to fly like a dove.
It's been so long since I've felt the sun,
Let's go outside... to feel the breeze as I run.
To be in your home would be a dream come true.
I could never imagine a life without you.
I'd sit by your side and make you smile.
You'd forget your problems... just for a while.
Just give me a chance to be by your side.
We'll be partners in life, I won't have to hide.
I'll make you smile, I'll make you feel good.
You'll have someone to be with, the way it should.
You've seen my face and looked into my eyes.
Please don't turn away ... no more good-byes.
Just open my door and set me free.
Take me with you, how happy I'd be.
IF I COULD TALK ... What would I say?
Just give me hope ... to see another day!

Each day 10,000 humans are born in the U.S.--and each day 70,000 puppies and kittens are born.
As long as these birth rates exist, there will never be enough homes for all the animals.
As a result, millions of healthy, loving cats, dogs, kittens and puppies face
early deaths as a form of animal control.
Others are left to fend for themselves against motor vehicles, the elements,
animals and cruel and abusive humans. What can you do to stop the suffering?
Spay / neuter your pets!
ONE unspayed female cat, her mate and all of their offspring, producing 2 litters per year,
with 2.8 surviving kittens per litter can total:

1 year: 12
2 years: 67
3 years: 376
4 years: 2,107
5 years: 11,801
6 years: 66,088
7 years: 370,092
8 years: 2,072,514
9 years:11,606,077
