I stop and have thoughts of a wonderful, sweet, friend of mine,
I know that when I am thinking I seem to lose track of time.

I delight in our conversations and cannot seem to get enough,
I am blessed with this friend, who has shared with me so much.

You inspire thoughts of wonder and give me cause to smile,
You share a precious gift with me,
I enjoy all the while.

You are kind, warm, generous, thoughtful, and sincere, You have found with me a friendship I hold precious and dear.

We talk about anything and everything, under the sun it seems,
We share our thoughts, our feelings, our hopes, and our dreams.

We find we share a common ground, in many matters it appears
We even share our doubts, our worries, and our fears.

Our encounters are full of wonder, as we learn from day to day,
Our friendship seed was planted and grows nicely still today.

Our smiles and laughter are abundant and do not seem to end,
Our friendship is filled with such joy; I honor you my friend.

Yesterday is but a memory, and tomorrow has yet to be, Today was better because of you, and that means a lot to me.

Thank you for all that you are, and all that you do share,
Know deep in your heart that for you, I truly care.
