Prayer Is The Answer

He saw that was no man, and wondered that there was no intercessor; therefore His own arm brought salvation for Him; and His own righteousness, it substained Him. (Isiah 59:16)

God sent message through His prophet Isiah, no man was interceding for man and today it appears that we are in that same condition. God had to send His Son (Jesus) to bring about salvation and Jesus has been interceding on our behalf for over 2000 years. But God, still call us to enter into a covenant agreement with Him, so that He might, “tell-great and unsearchable things [we] do not know (Jeremiah 33:3). We are today standing in the need of prayer and if we make prayer a way of life God will reveal to us through our spirit, those things never revealed before. When we become praying men and women He wants us to ask to come into His throne room to seek what He desires so that He can do, “immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine” (Ephesians 3:20). It only stand to reason that our prayer life become real, God has said that when we pray he will tell us great and unsearchable things and he will do more than we can imagine. But when we pray we can’t do a drive-by or passing-by prayer and the scriptures tells us that, “stay until you have been clothed with power” (Luke 24:49). We should stay in prayer until we feel that power of the Holy Spirit is energizing us. We must allow our prayer closet to be a launching pad used to fulfill the mission of Christ. Individual who pray are moved to a greater urgency to witness. The bottom line is prayer always increases the evangelism efforts. Prayer brings renewal to the church and moves us to see the lost with Gods heart. God’s will in all that we do is that all might come to know Him. That time has come to pray with hope the words of Habakkuh 3:2, “Lord, I have heard of your fame; I stand in awe of your deeds, O Lord. Renew them in our day, in our time make them Known.” Prayer, sub-stains us, have you prayed today?
