Resident Evil was awesome. Great graphics, everything looked really good. Sound is great as well, real dialogue once again. Music is really spooky, it'll get soft then when an enemy jumps out, it gets loud and scares the crap out of you. A good storyline as well. Chose from two different characters. Each character goes his/her own way in the game. The difficulty is great as well. Very challenging puzzles and bosses also. Play control is good too, similar to Tomb Raider. Some real cool and fun codes and tricks you can earn as well!

The only thing I've noticed that is bad about this game is the replay value sucks. Sure it's fun just going around once more and killing zombie after zombie, but once you've beaten it, you know where everything is. But I think on the Directors Cut version, you can select a difficulty called Arranged, and it Rearranges everything, such as items and keys, etc., so that it will be different almost everytime! Not quite sure though...Well anyways, thats the only thing I've noticed to be a little bad about ALL the Resident Evil's, but they're all good!

Resident Evil, like all Resident Evil's, are excellent games. Very detailed and well made and designed. It is very gory, but hey, if it wasn't then it wouldn't be as real as it is, now would it? Anyways, I recommend you get this game if you see it, I tried looking in various places, just too old...Now it's gone.
