This page contains a few quotes from various books pertaining to what a slave is and also positions. The information contained in these pages is in no way all the information that one needs to know. I will provide as much information on Gor as possible for both the Freepersons as well as kajirae and kajirus.
In Gor,if you are not one of the Free, you are slave, beast, property. There are specific rules that a slave must follow if she hopes to continue to live and not be killed nor sold, although following these rules does not ensure you won't be as that is at the whim of the Free.
This section of the website is currently being updated and I thank you for your patience.
"Gor is Not Fair, Gor is Not Just...Gor Just IS"
You are a slave. A beast, property for Free to do with as they see fit. you have no opinions, debate options nor say. you do as you are told, no less. you own nothing. Even your name is your Owners property.
Everything you will have will be because your Owner gave it to you. It may be taken away at Their slightest whim at anytime.you do Not engage in Freeperson conversations unless permission is given.
Your SOLE purpose is to be found pleasing by the Free, period.
"Tribesman of Gor" p. 12
"The Gorean Master commands sensuality in his female slaves. You cannot even move like that now. Yet muscles can be trained. You will be taught to move as a woman, not a puppet of wood. You will be taught to be sensual. You will learn your womanhood. And, I will tell you where you will learn it. At the feet of a Master."
Gor was written in a series of books by John Norman. It is a world that is ruled by Men (and Panthers in the Forest..grinzz). It is ruled by the Priest Kings (insect like creatures with great intellect) Life on Gor is Savage, but can be also very beautiful. There is much info about Gor you can find with little effort. Women are property. You will find FreeWomen on Gor dressed in silk robes with veils on Their faces, but it is extremely hard to remain Free for a Woman.
Most women are slaves.(kajirae) They are property to be treated as the Owners wish. you will wish to be found pleasing at all times as your life depends on it. slaves have been badly beaten, fed to the sleen etc and some even die when they displease One, so take heed and do your very best always to be found pleasing.they are NEVER allowed to touch money with their hands.
"It must be understood, of course, that a slave, having no rights, does not have the right even to clothing. That a girl is wearing even a rag is usually a sign that she has pleased her master, and quite significantly, too. Often the garment of a slave girl does not come easily to her, in private, of course, even rags are often dispensed with. The slave is the property of the master, and, in the privacy of his quarters, she is done with, totally, as he pleases."
Savages of Gor, page 330The slave is almost never totally nude. Her body is marked almost always with some token of her condition, which is bond. This is usually a collar, but it may also be an anklet, sometimes belled, or a bracelet. Her brand, of course, fixed in her very flesh, deep and lovely, is always worn.
Even for those in relationships of Domination and Submission which are not Gorean in nature, the positions detailed here display the form of the submissive in a pleasing manner for both the Dominant, and the submissive, reminding each of who they are, and what is.
She kneels on the floor, her thighs spread widely to allow her to lay her chest upon the floor, she leans forward placing her breasts and forehead against the floor, she reaches out with her arms fully extended, palms against floor. Her hips are in the air, or she is sometimes on her belly. Her ankles may be crossed or uncrossed. This is the position that shows utmost respect and from which requests are made from. All slaves should become very familiar with the manner in which their Master wishes this position assumed.
Stand
To stand as a Gorean kajira can be best described by this passage from the book,
Slave Girl of Gor, p. 249.
"He looked me over. I blushed, under Gorean appraisal, I only wore my
tether.
"Stand as a slave," he said.
I stood beautifully, back straight, head high, belly sucked in, hip turned.
No
woman can stand more beautifully than as a gorean slave girl.
"Excellant," said Ladletender, smacking his lips.
"Master is pleased," I said.
"Yes," he said.
"The slave too, is then pleased," I said.
Nadu
The first position a slave should learn, this is the position a slave or kajira
uses to kneel before
her Master (or Mistress,) her head held proudly high, eyes downcast in respect
but not shame, knees spread wide open, shoulders back keeping her back straight
or arched in a subtle manner to move the breasts outwards in an offering thrust.
Her hands rest on her thighs. Some Master's prefer the palms to be facing
upward, displaying the offer of submission and service.
Tower nadu
In this form of nadu, she kneels the same way, but with her palms down and her
knees modestly together. The position may also be done with the arms crossed at
the wrists before the kajira or the hands may be holding something, such as a
tablet for inscribing ciphers, etc. This is referred to as the Tower Slave
Position and is typically reserved for underage or white-silk slave girls, Free
Women including those in temporary service to pay a debt, or slave girls who
serve their Master in a nonsexual way. Some Masters may ask their slaves to
serve Others from this position, or Free Women are typically served in this
position except by silk slaves who are also kajirus.
Belly
In this position, she falls to the floor face down, her forehead resting flat on
the surface, or her left cheek pressed to the floor, her arms at her sides or
clasped behind her back, sometimes bound, with her knees never touching and
crawls to the Master on her belly. It could be used for punishment, to display
submission, or as part of an erotic dance.
"Approach me on your belly," I said.
She squirmed to the table, her hands still behind her.
p. 75, Renegades of Gor
Crawl
The girl gets down on all fours, palms to elbows flat to the floor, her hips
in the air with her forehead or cheek close to but not touching the floor and
crawls to the Master's feet. This approach allows a girl to display her body to
the Master in a variety of enticing ways.
Bara
This position may be used as punishment, display, or for transporting a girl.
She lays on her
stomach, face down and with her cheek and breasts pressed to the floor, face
turned to the left with her wrists crossed behind her back. Her ankles are
usually crossed, as well, as if for binding. The Master may have the binding
fibers at His belt, use those wound around her waist and holding her garment, or
even bid the kajira to approach with them held in her teeth.
"Bara, Kajira!" he said. She rolled quickly to her stomach, placing her
wrists behind her, crossed, and crossing her
ankles, ready to be bound.
p. 77, Explorers of Gor
Gorean bow
This position may be used in inventive serves, as an alternative to table, and
is part of the "Belt Dance." She kneels in nadu position and bends her body
backwards, her head to the floor, she places her hands by her head palms down
and lowered to the floor, then pulls up into a back bend. The position is
painful and not maintained for longer than a few minutes.
her head then
touched the furs, her body a cruel, helpless bow.
p. 185, Assassin of Gor
Sula
She lays on her back, her hands at her sides, palms facing upward. Her legs are
spread wide open... she awaits Master's inspection. This position may be used to
confirm white-silk status.
She slid her legs from under her and lay on her back, her hands at her sides,
palms up, her legs open.
p. 77, Explorers of Gor
Sula-ki
Similar to the sula position, except once she has assumed the sula position she
slowly lifts her hips up off the floor, as if beckoning him with her body,
encouraging her sexual use by him.
Lesha
This position is used to attach a leash. She kneels, her back to her Master,
with her chin
lifted and head turned to the left, offering her collar for leashing. Her wrists
are behind her
back ready for slave bracelets to be used or her wrists bound with fibers. In
high lesha,
the girl stands, her feet parted so the knees do not touch, her eyes lowered.
Some girls beg to be leashed, sometimes crawling to their masters, their leash
held
between their small, fine teeth. Most masters use the leash at one time or
another. A gorean saying has
it that a leashed slave is a hot slave.
Coin
In this position, a girl is given a coin, something she is not allowed to touch
with her fingers. A coin girl, sent to the streets to earn coins for her Master
through sexual service, will wear a small leather bag on a tether around her
neck.
The fellow who stood by the table, scarcely noticing the girl,
placed a tarsk-bit in her mouth, and she fled back to the counter where, under
the eye of a
paga attendant,
she spit the coin into a copper bowl."
page 78, Rogue of Gor
Bracelets
This position is used to put on slave bracelets or manacles. She places her
hands behind her back, her shoulders pushed back and her breasts thrust outward,
her hands clasped tightly with the wrists touching behind her back. She also may
be hooded or gagged from this position. The position may be ordered as low,
kneeling, or high, standing, as in lesha.
Collaring Position
Also called "the Position of Female Submission." She kneels at the Master's feet
and leans her body back, sitting upon her heels, with her arms extended upward,
crossed at the wrists, and her head beneath them lowered in supplication. With
the wrists uncrossed but holding a serving container, refreshments are typically
served in this manner, also.
Submission
She kneels, bending at the waist with her hips rising into the air and places
her left cheek to the floor. She might, at His with take her Master's right
foot and place it upon her neck, moving her arms behind her back, crossing them
at the wrist. A Collared slave often greets her Master in this way. To touch a
Master requires permission, normally.
Obedience position
She falls to the floor upon her belly, face down before the Master. She turns
her head and places her cheek against his boots, kissing them lightly in a
gesture of love and submission. She may also lick them or dust them with her
hair in this manner.
"Now inch forwad," I said, " remaining low on your belly, and when you reach my
feet, once again, as
before, lifting your head a little, tenderly and humbly, and beautifully, as
though you were a slave , lick
and kiss them. Good. Good. Now take my foot and place it gently on your head.
Very good. Now place
it again on the Mat, and kiss it again. Good. You may now belly back a little,
humbly. I have not yet
given you permission to rise of course."
p. 411 Mercenaries of Gor
Suga
This is very similar to karta but in this her wrists are crossed. She kneels,
knees wide apart
and lays her head to the floor, one cheek to the floor, arms stretched over head
and wrists
crossed, awaiting His permission to speak.
Prostrate
This is used when waiting permission to enter a room and sometimes, to speak.
The kajira kneels touching her forehead to the floor stretching her arms out
before her with palms down and fingers spread.
At his entrance Susan put the palms of her hands on the floor and lowered
her head to the tiles, assuming a position of
slave obeisance common with her
in the presence of her master.
p. 157, Kajira of Gor
Table
Used when a Master is in need of a table to rest his drink or to just rest his
feet or elbows, she goes to all fours, locking her elbows, making her back
smooth and level, holding her head level as well, eyes straight ahead. It may be
used for punishment and can be tiring.
Whipping position
She first assumes the Nadu position, though with her arms crossed in front of
her over her breasts. She then leans forward and places her head to the floor,
first sweeping her hair forward over her
shoulders to one side leaving her back exposed to the whip.
Slaver's kiss
She falls to the floor upon all fours, and lowers her cheek to the ground, with
her buttocks thrust upward and her thighs widely spread, in she-sleen position,
exposing herself fully in preparation for the caress of the leather against her
body. Her reaction to the touch of the coiled whip tells the Master if the slave
is "vital" or alive.
She-sleen
Also known as "assuming the modality of the she-quadruped." She falls to her
hands and
knees, her head down on the floor, her hindquarters thrust high for viewing
and/or her
Master's pleasure. "Serving in the modality of the she-quadruped" is an
instruction whereby the slave performs her regular duties upon hands and knees,
without the benefit of the use of her hands and unable to rise to her feet,
using only her mouth and teeth to grasp and manipulate objects.
a naked slave in sleen collar,
was ordered forth on her hands and knees. A
sleen leash was attached to her
collar and she was marched, as a she-sleen,
crawling, abused, to the rape-rack
in which I had been earlier confined.
p. 238, Slave Girl of Gor
Leading position
She stands and moves behind her Master, bending at the waist her cheek resting
at His belt or hip. She places her hands behind her. This allows Him to easily
lead her by her hair or collar while walking.
Slave Lips
When this command is given, she turns her head up to the Master, her lips pursed in a sensual kissing position.
She remains motionless, her lips thusly puckered, and may not move until she is granted the kiss of a Master
Nestle Position
When this command is given she snuggles obediently in the crook of the Master's left arm.
Run Command
When this command is given, she runs toward her objective, taking short rapid steps, with her legs almost straight, her feet hardly leaving the floor. As she moves her back is straight, her head is turned to the left, and her arms are at her sides, her palms facing outward at a 45 degree angle to her body. Upon reaching her objective she drops gracefully to her knees and typically resumes the position of Nadu.
Walk Command
When this command is given, she turns in a graceful pirouette, her hair swinging. She then walks, gliding across the room, her feet hardly seeming to leave the floor, her hips swaying sensually, her body erect and proud. When she reaches her objective she halts and stands, her body erect, her shoulders back, her chest thrust forward, her belly in. She turns her hip out a bit, her hands at her sides, and points one foot. Her head is up and her eyes are lowered
Heel Command
She goes to Master and kneels behind his left foot, awaiting his movement whereupon she stays to his left or his right depending on which hand is his weapon hand and slightly behind him following him as he moves.
Blanket
This not a true command but is still an action the slave should remember. If something is thrown over her head she must remain silent and motionless until freed from it.
Leading Position
She stands and moves behind her Master, bending at the waist. She places her hands behind her and puts the side of her head to her Master's hip, that he might lead her easily by the hair or collar while walking
Tile Position
A slave, when passed by a Free Person in a hallway, room, or otherwise, to show their status as a slave will stop whatever they are doing, go down to their knees into the position of nadu, if they were standing, and then quickly lower their forehead to the floor, their arms outstretched and remain in this still position until the Free Person has completely passed by, or they decide to command the slave otherwise
Kneel to the Coffle
The girls kneel, closely, one behind the other, as their left wrists are placed in wrist rings; this is usually followed by the order to stand and then the order "Lower chain" where the girls lower their wrists. Thusly they are then in line, standing, coffled.
