The Reed Family - Part I

Can anyone help me put together some family information on the Reeds?

I find Granville and Caroline Reed on the 1910 census of Bennett's Bayou, Baxter County, AR, near the families of Sylvester Tribbitt, Ben McFarland, Robert Leach, George Carrell, Thomas Reed, Andrew Galbraith, William Collins, John Holstein, Frank Arnett, Andrew Foster, John F Maybrey and Clyde Hays.

Granville Reed Headstone

The full inscription reads:

GRANVILLE REED
JUNE 8, 1859
JUNE 27, 1940

This grey granite marker measures "H x "W x "D. It has a cross and floral motif on the left side and the inscription has a border which surrounds this area which is a different shade of grey. This marker does not look old enough to be original and was placed here c1970s by his descendant Virgie Goodwin. It is located in the last row in the back of the cemetery on the very far right. Graves nearby include other Reed family and fieldstone markers. Down a row of two closer to the entrance is the grave of B F Myers.

Caroline Reed Headstone

The full inscription reads:

CAROLINE REED
DEC. 7, 1857
APR. 1, 1928

This unusual metal marker measures "H x "W x "D (the plaque itself) and is mounted on a " pedestal of the same metal. This pedestal is mounted in a cement block which is "H x "W x "D. It has a flower bloom at the top center and at each side.

It is located to the left of her husband, Granville's, grave.
