Govan is Francis Hawks Govan Jr. The date I have for him isDec 20,
1898. It is a lot
easier to read if you know what they say beforehand. The graves just
south of
him are his parents. Francis Hawks Govan Jan 7 1846 - Aug
6, 1913. He is a
Confederate Veteran and at one time had a Confedeate veterans
iron marker on
his grave.His wife is Mildred Hewitt Ford Oct 12 1855 to Aug 26 1934.
Just
east of them are Laura Govan Ward ( & William Lafayette Ward)
and Eaton Pugh
Govan ( & Evelyn Derrick Govan). Charles ford Govan is the brother
of Bettie
,Laura,Francis Jr and Eaton Pugh. They are the children of F H &
M F Govan.
