A Police Officer's Prayer

Lord, I ask for courage~
Courage to face and conquer my own fears...
Courage to take me where others will not go...
I ask for strength~
Strength of body to protect others,
and strength of spirit to lead others...
I ask for dedication~
Dedication to my job, to do it well,
Dedication to my community,
to keep it safe...
Give me Lord, concern for those who need me...
And please Lord, through it all,
be at my side...

I would like to dedicate this prayer to my daughter who is a dispatcher for a Sherrif's Dept. and an Auxilary Deputy, and her husband who is a K9 Officer.

Looks like throughout my Homepages, I have mentioned 6 of my 7 children.
I have 3 still at home,(ages 10,14,and 17) They are all Honor Students. The 14 year old was a member of the Student Council 2 years in a row.
....A little something about #5. After completing the 6th.grade, she was awarded the Presidential Award, signed by the President of the United States. (Bill Clinton) And toward the end of the 7th.grade, The National Achievement Academy Award...She was also a member of Student Council in the 7th.grade. She has never been in trouble in school or out.

A prayer request for my son (Bobby Jr.) who has been diagnosed with a brain tumor.
His latest MRI test results on June 3rd, 1999.

Update Note: The tumor has shrunk
and he is on medication!
