Wrestle War (3/21/99)
[The scene turns black. Then the Wrestle War Theme begins to play, as we are now taken into the Nutter Center where thousands upon
thousands of screaming fans await. There are
hundreds of signs being held up by the fans
all over the place. The camera now pans
across the ring entrance. There's a large
ramp that leads up to a platform. On the
platform are two giant tanks side by side.
They each have a tunnel throw them, which
will serve as the entrances for the
wrestler's tonight. They look almost
identicle. However, one tank is green, for
the faces and the other is black, for the
heels. The camera moves on down the aisle to
the ringside area. The ring mat is green,
brown, and black with black barbwire looking
"Wrestle War" logos in the center. The apron
covers are black with Wrestle War written in
barbwire looking letters. The ropes are red
and the turnbuckles are green, brown, and
black. The camera now brings us to the
announcer's table where Gary Dawson and Jim
Wallace are sitting. Both men are wearing
black tuxes for this ocassion.]
GD: Hello everyone and welcome to Dayton,
Ohio!! Welcome to the Nutter Center! And
welcome to Wrestle War!! I'm Gary Dawson and
with me after a short break is Jim Wallace!
JW: I am glad to be back!
GD: Tonight we have some GREAT action for
you! Tonight we will crown a NEW World
Champion!
JW: The World Title has been vacant for
almost a month now and we will crown a new
one in the tourny finals tonight!
GD: But this is not just a normal match. No!
Kid Ego and Mr. Monday Night will fight in a
Ladder Match!
JW: Oh but that is not all Gary! This match
will have 2 Guest Referees! The Main ref will
be Commish Childers! But The Prez is smart.
He knows the Commish and Ego have had their
problems. That is why The Prez himself will
be the outside referee!
GD: But lets not forget about the 4 on 4 War
matches!! What is a War match? It is simple.
4 men are a team against another team of 4.
To win, you must eliminate every member of
your opponent's team! And whoever is left
standing wins it for their team! All forms of
eliminations can occur.
JW: But tonight we will have a tourny of War
matches! 8 teams of 4! By the end of the
night, there will be only 1!
GD: Now we have been told that the winning
team will get a special prize! What can that
be. We hope to find out by the end of the
night! Without further delay, lets take it to
ring announcer Don Jones!
[Firworks shoot off from the entrance way as
ring announcer Don Jones walks down the
aisle, shaking fans hands. He climbs into the
ring with mic and cue cards in hand.]
DJ: Welcome to Wrestle War!!
[The Crowd goes WILD!!!]
DJ: Our opening contest is a First Round

GD: Wait a minute!! The lights go out and an eerie white glow fills the room. The church bells start to ring but very quietly. Then Dark Angel walks out from behind the curtains carrying a lead pipe. He stops at the top of the ramp.
JW: Well lets continue with the match! Who the hell are these clowns? Who are
those knights? They have masks on. They look
like losers to me! They should get killed by
Manyon's team!
GD: Here we go! Red Knight and Flash start it off! Headlock and a Shoulder Block by Knight.
Slam by Knight. He goes for a Leg Drop but
Flash moves. He tags out to Trent. Trent
pounds away at Red Knight. He tags out to
White Knight. DDT by Walker. The Double-Down
by Walker! 1, 2, 3!! White Knight is gone!
JW: What an idiot!
GD: Flash back in as he goes to work on Black
Knight. Neckbreaker by Flash. The Flash in
the Pan by Flanagan! 1, 2, 3! Black Knight is
gone!
JW: I am going to the bathroom!
GD: Manyon in with Red Knight! Superkick by
Manyon! Knight is out! 1, 2, 3!!
GD: Wait Blue Knight in against Sanders. Here comes Eddie Gilbert!! He trips Blue Knight from the outside!! Primetime by Sanders! 1, 2, 3!! Knight is gone!!
DJ: Here are your winners...The team of
Manyon, Sanders, Flanagan, and Walker!!
JW: As Jayzon Sanders stands up he turns to face The Dark Angel. Dark Angel points the lead pipe at Jayzon Sanders. Sanders starts yelling at Dark Angel but Dark Angel just turns around and walks away.
GD: They didn't even break a sweat! They
should face tougher opponents down the road!
JW: I am totally confused! What the Hell is Gilbert and Angel doing!!

GD: They punch it out on the outside. X slings Flash into the steel steps. X begins to pound on Flash. He tries to get back in, but Flash stops him. X pounds on Flash again! RING RING!! The bell has rung and both Flash and X have been counted out! They are both gone!! Wait Sanders is in with Wang now. Wang tries to sling Sanders, but Sanders reverses and sends Wang into the ropes.
JW: Wait X tripped Wang from the outside! He thought it was Sanders! He is pissed!
GD: So is Wang! He is arguing with X! Wait from behind, Sanders spins Wang around and nails him with the Prime Time! 1, 2, 3!! Wang is gone!! It is now 3 on 1!
JW: Wang now runs towards the locker room after X! Poppa Bear is in trouble now!
GD: Poppa Bear and Walker are in now! Walker goes after Bear. Slam and a Garvin Stomp by Walker. German Suplex by Walker. Walker slings Bear into the ropes, but Bear hangs onto the ropes. Clothesline by Bear. Death Valley Driver by Bear. He applies a Bear Claw to Walker, and Walker finally gives up! Walker is gone! It is 2 on 1 now!
JW: Here comes my brother of a different mother, Lance Manyon!
GD: Bear starts to pound on Manyon. Powerbomb by Bear. He tries to apply a Bear Claw to Manyon, but Sanders comes in and stops him. Belly-to-Belly Suplex by Sanders. Prime Time by Sanders! GD: Here we go! MMN and Walker start it off! Walker and MMN punch it out. Gargoyle-plex by Walker. Backbreaker by Walker. Side Walk Slam by Walker. Walker tags out to Flash. Flash begins to stomp on MMN. He slings him into the ropes, but MMN comes off with a Body Press. Russian Leg Sweep by MMN. MMN tags out to BPP. BPP hits Flash. Slam and a Leg Drop by BPP.
JW: Both teams are working well together! This should be good!
GD: Powerbomb by BPP. Pimp goes up top and nails Flash with a Top Rope Leg Drop. Pimp slings Flash into the corner. He goes for the Pimp Strut, but Flash moves out of the way! Flash tags out to Walker and Pimp tags Taylor! Taylor and Trent in now. Trent just runs over Taylor with a Clothesline! The Double Down by Walker! 1, 2, 3!! Taylor is gone!!
JW: What is this Reptile and his bodyguard, Redman, are making their way to the ring!
GD: MMN and Pimp are in the ring looking at this. The entire match has stopped. Sanders, Manyon, Walker, and Flash are just looking on! MMN and Pimp are yelling at Reptile and Reptile to leave! Wait Paladin goes outside and grabs a chair. He climbs back into the ring. What the HELL is this! Paladin rips off his TTI shirt to reveal a EGO/FMS T-shirt! What the HELL!!!
JW: Paladin just nailed MMN with the chair! Wait he just nailed Pimp with the chair!! MY GOD!!
GD: Now he is walking away from ring! He shakes hands with Reptile!! MY GOD!! Paladin has turned on TTI!!!
JW: But that match has continued! It is 4 on 2! Sanders, Manyon, Flash, and Trent all come in and start stomping on MMN and Pimp! I love it!
GD: Super Kick by Manyon on MMN. The Flash in the Pan by Flash on MMN! The Double Down by Walker on MMN! Prime Time by Sanders on MMN! 1, 2, 3!! MMN is gone! Wait The Double Down by Walker on Pimp! Flash goes up top and uses a Frog Splash on Pimp!! Prime Time by Sanders! All 4 put Pimp on the top rope! The Show's Over by Manyon on Pimp! 1, 2, 3!! Pimp is gone!!

GD: Reptile has took a seat next to us here at ringside.
REPTILE: I am just here to watch. I will do no talking in this match.
GD: Here we go! Headlock and a Shoulder Block by Ego. Slam and a Armbar by Ego. MMN reverses it into an Armbar. Slam and a Leg Drop by MMN. MMN applies a headlock. Ego turns it into a Hammerlock.
JW: BORING!
GD: Don't start! Wait a minute! The lights go out and an eerie glow fills the room. Church bells start to ring and the noise is almost deafening. Out from the curtain walks The Dark Angel. He stands on the top of the ramp, with his arms crossed, watching the match. Kid Ego and Mr. Monday Night pause for a few seconds but then continue fighting. Headlock by Ego. MMN pushes Ego into the ropes. Ego clotheslines MMN. Backbreaker by Ego. Elbow Drop by Ego. Suplex by Ego. Ego slings MMN into the corner. He charges in, but MMN catches him with a Back Elbow. Spinning Heel Kick by MMN. Russian Leg Sweep by MMN. MMN goes up top and hits Ego with a Suicide Dive. MMN goes outside and grabs the ladder!
JW: Now here we go!
GD: Ego is up and he go outside and pounds on MMN. Ego slings MMN into the steel steps! Ego puts the lader in the ring. He sets it up. Ego points at Commish Childers and starts to climb. MMN climbs to the top rope and drop kicks the ladder sending Ego to the mat! The ladder falls on Ego!
JW: I knew this two would provide action sooner or later!!
GD: MMN sets up the ladder and begins to climb, but Ego stops him. MMN kicks Ego and connects with a Clothsline from the ladder. Low Blow by MMN. The Commish seemed to not see that. Powerbomb by MMN. MMN goes up top and nails Ego with a Moonsault. Elbow Drop by MMN. MMN climbs the ladder. He almost has the belt, but Ego pushes the ladder over and MMN falls on the ropes! Clothesline by Ego. Sleeper by Ego. MMN reverses it into a Jawbreaker.
JW: This has gone back and forth!
GD: DDT by Ego. Powerbomb by Ego. Hurricanrana by Ego. Crusifix by Ego. Ego goes outside and grabs a chair. MMN is back up. He drop kicks the chair into Ego's face! Hurricanrana by MMN. MMN puts Ego on the top rope. He goes for the Kerplunk, but Ego grabs MMN and drops him throat first across the top turnbuckle! Ego picks up the chair and nails MMN with it! Ego climbs the ladder. MMN is in the corner, but it falls and hits the ladder knocking Ego off! MMN struggles up. He grabs the ladder and starts to climb!
JW: Wait Ego does the same thing on the other side!
GD: They are both at the top now. They fight it out! Monday Night Special by MMN on Ego! Ego goes down towards the mat but he lands on the ropes. But when he landed on the ropes, Ego bounced back and nailed the ladder! Which caused the ladder to fall and MMN to go flying to the outside of the ring! Both men are down!
JW: This is GREAT!!
GD: Ego struggles up. MMN starts to get up. Ego picks up the chair. MMN crawls up to the apron. Ego runs across the ring and NAILS MMN with chair!! MMN goes flying into the guardrail and is BUSTED open!!
JW: OH MY! This is ACTION!!
GD: Ego starts to climb the ladder! He is at the top! He grabs the belt!!!! Ego is the NEW FWA World Champion!!! Dark Angel now leaves through the curtains.
DJ: Here is your winner and NEW World Champion...Kid Ego!!!
JW: What a match!!!
GD: Wait Commish Childers grabs the belt away from Ego!!! The Prez gets in the ring now! Ego is about to hit them! Wait The Prez grabs the belt away from the Commish! The Prez then hands the belt over to Ego!! The Commish leaves without saying a word! Now Reptile has got up from the announce table and has left!
JW: Now Ego will face Paladin on Tuesday for the World Title!! HOLY COW!!
GD: That is right! What a night this has been! Suprises!! Suprises!! Alliances have been broken and NEW ones have been formed! We are out of time! Our next card will be Tuesday!!
