FWA Monday Night Madness (2/8/99)

[The screen turns black...a faint buzing in 
the background. Slowly the darkness swirls 
and three letters written in blood 
red...F_W_A! All of a sudden FWA Theme Music begins 
playing as the camera goes to an above shot 
of the Marine Midland Arena in Buffalo, NY! 
The arena is jam packed with FWA fans, all 
screaming and enjoying the pyrotechnics and 
lasers which errupt all over the building. 
The camera slowly moves closer and closer 
until finally reaching Gary Dawson and Jim 
Wallace at the broadcast booth.] 

GD: Welcome everyone to Monday Night 
Madness!! We have 9 matches for you tonight, 
including 4 World Title Tourny/First Round 
matches! We also have 3 titles on the line 
tonight! Lucifer and Beelbezub will go after 
the Tag Titles and Puppetmaster will go after 
the TV Title. We also have Lance Manyon going 
after the US Title. 

JW: Do you ever shut up! Tonight we have all 
those great matches, but you forgot about the 
Hell in a Cell/Electric Barbwire match!! That 
is what I want to see. That and the Manyon 
match, of course!

GW: Lets go to the action!

#1 MMI: Kid Ego .v. IM: Oblivion
(World Title Tourny/First Round)

GD: Ego starts off pounding on Oblivion. Slam 
by Ego. Leg Drop by Ego. Ego pounds away at 
Oblivion.

JW: Ego is dominating this match!

GD: OH! Oblivion kicks Ego below the belt! 
DDT by Oblivion. Elbow Drop by Oblivion. 
Oblivion picks up Ego for a Running 
Powerbomb, but Ego reverses it into a 
Hurricanrana! DDT by Ego. Here comes Syxx 
Pac, Kanyon, Big Daddy, and Flash Flanagan! 
Ego Check by Ego!! 1, 2, 3!! Ego wins! Syxx 
Pac has some brass knuckles now! He starts 
pounding on Oblivion! Here comes the rest of 
MMI. They start stomping on Oblivion. They 
pound on him, until officials stop them!

JW: MMI must be sending a message to the rest 
of the FWA!!

#2 MG: Cyrus The Virus .v. Trent Walker
(World Title Tourny/First Round)

GD: They lock up. Slap to Virus' chest by 
Walker. Kick to the gut by Walker. Walker 
whips Virus into the ropes. Spinning heel 
kick by Walker. 1, kickout. Walker picks up 
Virus. Double arm DDT by Walker. Walker picks 
up Virus. Low blow by Virus. Virus 
clotheslines Walker. Big leg drop by Virus. 
Another leg drop by Virus. 1, 2, kickout. 
Piledriver by Virus. Virus goes for another 
Piledriver. Back body drop by Walker. Samaon 
Drop by Walker. Walker applies a Camel Clutch 
to Virus but Virus is too close to the ropes 
and just simply grabs it. Walker won't let go 
though. Walker lets go and starts yelling at 
the ref. Cyrus the Virus rolls Walker up from 
behind. 1, 2, 3. NO! Walker got his foot on 
the ropes just in the nic of time. Walker 
stumbles up. Power Bomb by Virus. Virus whips 
Walker into the turnbuckle. Virus sets Walker 
up on the top. Virus gets ready to deliver a 
Belly to Belly Suplex. Trent Walker blocks 
it. Walker spins Virus around. Top Rope 
DDT!!! The Double-Down by Walker!!! 1, 2, 3!! 
Walker wins!!!

JW: Good Match with Walker pulling out the 
victory!!

#3 TTI: Big Poppa Pimp .v. Smack Daddy
(World Title Tourny/First Round)

GD: BPP starts laying the boots to Smack 
Daddy right at the start. BPP picks up Smack 
Daddy. Russian Leg Sweep by BPP. BPP throws 
Smack Daddy into the ropes. BPP goes for a 
clothesline but Smack Daddy ducks it. BPP 
turns around and is meet with with a kick to 
the face. Cover by Smack Daddy. BPP kicks out 
before the ref can even start to count. They 
start exchanging blows. BPP blocks Smack 
Daddy's punch. Piledrive by BPP. Jawbreaker 
by BPP. 1, 2, kickout. BPP starts slapping 
Smack Daddy around. He's just foolin' around 
now. BPP whips Smack Daddy into the ropes. 
Devastating Clothesline by BPP. Smack Daddy 
gets up slowly. Pimp slings Daddy into the 
corner. Pimp walks up Daddy's chest. 
Superkick into the corner! He calls that move 
the Pimp Strut!! 1, 2, 3!! Pimp wins!!!!

JW: That was a great move!!!

#4 IM: Sandman .v. Undertaker
(World Title Tourny/First Round)

GD: They lock up. Sandman runs against the 
ropes. Clothesline by Sandman. Undertaker 
doesn't fall down 'cause he is too big. 
Another clothesline by Sandman. Undertaker 
still stays up. Sandman goes for another 
clothesline. Undertaker grabs Sandman by the 
neck. Undertaker lifts him up for a 
chokeslam. Sandman kicks Undertaker in the 
gut while he is in the air. Sandman reverses 
the chokeslam into a DDT. 1, 2, kickout. 
Elbow drop by Sandman. Sandman starts choking 
Undertaker. The ref. breaks them up. Sandman 
applies a sleeper hold to Undertaker. 
Undertaker is going down. The ref raises his 
hand and drops it once, twice, Undertaker 
stops it the third time. Elbow to the gut by 
Undertaker. Sidewalk slam by Undertaker. 
Undertaker gets on the top rope as Sandman 
struggles up. Cross body block by Undertaker. 
1, 2, kickout. Undertaker picks up Sandman. 
Sandman pokes Undertaker in the eyes. Sandman 
gets to the top rope. He jumps off at the 
Undertaker. Undertaker catches him and has 
Sandman upon his shoulder. Undertaker could 
be going for the Tombstone. No, Sandman 
slides behind Taker. Rollup by Sandman! 1, 2, 
3!!! Sandman wins!!!

JW: Sandman pulled off the victory!!

#5 TTI: Mr. Monday Night .v. MMI: Flash 
Flanagan 
(Hell in a Cell/Electric Barbwire Match)

GD: Both men are in the Cell now! And here we 
go! Flanagan jumps MMN. He pounds on him! 
Slam by Flanagan. Leg Drop by Flanagan. 
Suplex by Flanagan. Side Walk Slam by 
Flanagan. Hurricanrana by Flanagan. Flanagan 
slings MMN into the barbwire!

JW: This is what I like right here! Two 
people beating the HELL out of each other!

GD: Flanagan goes outside to grab a chair. He 
nails MMN with the chair! He lays the chair 
down. Slam by Flanagan on the chair. Flanagan 
goes to the top rope. He goes for a Frog 
Splash, but MMN misses and Flanagan hits the 
chair! Hurricanrana by MMN. Spinning Heel 
Kick by MMN. Russian Leg Sweep onto the 
barbwire by MMN! 

JW: That has to sting!!

GD: Power Bomb by MMN. MMN throws Flanagan 
outside the ring. MMN tries to throw Flanagan 
into the electric cage, but Flanagan fights 
back! Flanagan elbows MMN. Flanagan tries to 
ram the face of MMN into the Barbwire, but 
MMN blocks it. Low Blow by MMN. MMN rams the 
face of Flanagan into the barbwire. MMN jumps 
back into the ring. Suicide Dive by MMN on 
Flanagan that sends Flanagan into the 
electric cage! Flanagan starts violenting 
shaking!!

JW: That was ELECTRIFYING!!!

GD: MMN rolls Flanagan back inside the ring. 
Monday Night Special by MMN!! 1, 2, 3!! MMN 
wins!!!

JW: BRUTAL match!! I love it!!

#6 DX: Shawn Michaels .v. MG: Paladin
(Iron Man Match)

GD: The person to get the most falls in 60 
minutes wins the match!

JW: New young superstars going at it for One 
Hour! This should be good! 

GD: They lock up. Headlock and a Shoulder 
Block by Michaels. Headlock by Michaels. 
Michaels runs the ropes and uses a Sunset 
Flip on Paladin. Clothesline by Michaels. 
Paladin rolls outside. Michaels goes after 
him. Paladin rolls back in the ring. Michaels 
gets back in the ring. Drop Kick by Paladin. 
Slam by Paladin. Elbow Drop by Paladin. 
Paladin applies a Headlock to Michaels.

JW: Paladin is slowing the pace down a 
little. Both men are fast, but Michaels may 
be a little bit faster. Not much though!

GD: Elbows by Michaels. Michaels goes into 
the ropes, but Paladin knees him. Headlock by 
Paladin. Paladin releases the hold and drops 
an elbow on Michaels. Paladin grabs Michaels' 
leg. He drops an elbow on it! Paladin 
grapevines the leg of Michaels. Paladin puts 
Michaels' leg over the bottom rope. He sits 
down on it! Paladin grapevines it again. He 
drops another elbow on the leg.

JW: Paladin is working on Michaels' leg, so 
he get that Superkick on him.

GD: Neckbreaker by Paladin. Leg Drop by 
Paladin. Paladin starts stomping on the leg 
of Michaels. Swinging Neckbreaker by Paladin. 
Belly-to-Back Suplex by Paladin. Figure-Four 
Leg Lock by Paladin! 20 minutes has expired 
in the match! 

JW: Michaels has to get out of this move! 

GD: Michaels crawls and grabs the ropes! 
Paladin drop an elbow on Michaels' leg. 
Paladin goes for The Salvation, but Michaels 
blocks it. Michaels picks up Paladin for a 
Suplex, but Michaels' leg gives out and 
Paladin falls on top of Michaels! 1, 2, 
KICKOUT!! Paladin picks up Michaels and 
applies a Sleeper hold. Jawbreaker by 
Michaels. Michaels struggles to get up. He 
waits for Paladin to get up. He goes for a 
Superkick, but Paladin catches him and 
clotheslines him! DDT by Paladin. Final Act 
by Paladin!! 1, 2, 3!! Michaels wins! 

JW: There is 15 minutes left in the match!

GD: Paladin starts pounding on Michaels!! 
Sleeper Hold by Paladin. Michaels goes down! 
He could be out! 1, 2, NO!! Michaels gets 
back up. He reverses it into a Back Suplex! 
Both men are down! The ref counts 1, 2, 3, 4, 
5, Michaels gets up! Paladin is getting up 
now. Michaels goes for a Superkick, but 
Paladin ducks. Paladin tries to clothesline 
Michaels, but he ducks! Michaels grabs him 
and starts kneeing him!! DDT by Michaels. 
Both men are down. Michaels jumps up, but his 
leg is hurt! Superkick by Michaels! 1, 2, 3!! 
Michaels wins!! We are tied with 3 minutes 
left in the match!

JW: That kick hurt Michaels more than 
Paladin!

GD: Both men are down! Michaels tries to use 
the ropes to get up. He is up. Paladin clips 
Michaels' leg!! Michaels falls to the outside 
in PAIN!! The ref begins to count. 1, 2, 3, 
4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10!! Paladin wins by Count 
Out!! Paladin is ahead by one fall now! There 
is only one minutes left in the match!

JW: Michaels is still outside! This could be 
over!

GD: Paladin goes outside and rolls him back 
in. Paladin starts pounding on Michaels. 30 
seconds left! Piledriver by Paladin. 15 
seconds left. 10! Paladin goes to pick up 
Michaels! Rollup by Michaels! 1, 2, ring 
ring!! The bell rings! That is it the match 
is over!! Paladin wins 2-1!!

JW: Great Match!!

#7 MMI: Kris Kanyon and MMI: Big Daddy .v. 
MP: Lucifer and MP: Beelbezub
(Tag Team Championship)

GD: Kanyon and Beelbezub start things off. 
Kanyon whips Beelbezub into the ropes towards 
Big Daddy. Big Daddy sticks his foot up and 
Beelbezub runs right into his boot. Cover by 
Kanyon. 1, kickout. Kanyon drags Beelbezub 
over to Daddy. Kanyon tags Daddy. Daddy gets 
to the top rope. Double Axehandle on 
Beelbezub by Daddy. Daddy whips Beelbezub 
into the ropes. Big boot by Daddy. Big Daddy 
starts taunting Lucifer. 

JW: That taunting may cost Big Daddy, but I 
like it anyways!!!

GD: Lucifer runs into the ring but the ref 
stops him. Kanyon comes from behind and hits 
Beelbezub with a spinning heel kick. Kanyon 
runs back out. Piledriver by Daddy. Daddy has 
Beelbezub up in the Jacknife Power Bomb. But 
Beelbezub reverses it into a hurricanrana.  
Beelbezub tags in Lucifer. Lucifer jumps from 
the top and hits a big leg drop on Big Daddy. 
1, kickout. Piledriver by Lucifer. DDT by 
Lucifer. 1, 2, kickout. Lucifer tags in 
Beelbezub. They start double teaming Big 
Daddy. 

JW: Some great teamwork from both teams in 
this one!

GD: Kanyon runs in the ring. All four 
wrestlers are in the ring. Lucifer is working 
over Big Daddy and Beelbezub is working over 
Kanyon. Lucifer gets Big Daddy in one corner 
and Beelbezub gets Kanyon in the opposite 
corner. They whip Kanyon and Big Daddy into 
each other. But Kanyon blocks it and 
Beelbezub runs right into Big Daddy's 
forearm. Daddy covers Beelbezub. 1, 2, 
Lucifer makes the save! The ref puts Lucifer 
back in his corer. At the same time, Kanyon 
grabs a chair and nails Beelbezub with it!! 
They throw the chair away before the ref 
turns around!! 1, 2, 3!!! Kanyon and Big 
Daddy win!! 

JW: They did what they had to do to win!!

GD: They cheated!

JW: SO! They are STILL the champions!

GD: Forget it! Let move on!

#8 TTI: Dark Angel .v. MP: Puppetmaster
(TV Championship)

GD: They lock up. Knee by Puppetmaster. 
Suplex by Puppetmaster. Slam by Puppetmaster. 
Leg Drop by Puppetmaster. Tilt-O-Whirl 
Backbreaker by Puppetmaster. German Suplex by 
Puppetmaster. Belly-to-Belly Suplex by 
Puppetmaster. Power Bomb by Puppetmaster. 
Puppetmaster goes up top. He goes for a 
Double-Axehandle, but Angel moves out of the 
way. Russian Leg Sweep by Angel. Piledriver 
by Angel. Neckbreaker by Angel. Elbow Drop by 
Angel. Boston Crab by Angel. Puppetmaster 
grabs the ropes. Leg Drop by Angel. Angel 
goes up top. Moonsault by Angel. 1, 2, 
KICKOUT!!

JW: That was close! There is a lot of heat 
between these two, since last Friday in the 
Battle Royal!

GD: Clothesline by Angel. Power Bomb by 
Angel. DDT by Angel. Angel goes outside and 
grabs a chair. Angel goes to the top with 
Puppetmaster on the mat. Angel goes for a 
Moonsault with the chair, but Puppetmaster 
moves and Angel hits the chair!! DDT by 
Puppetmaster. Puppetmaster goes for The 
Carver! Here comes Pimp and MMN. Wait, 
Lucifer and Beelbezub stop them. The Carver 
by Puppetmaster!! Wait, Tommy Taylor from out 
of the crowd! He grabs the ref. Puppetmaster 
gets up and sees what is going on. From 
behind, rollup by Angel!! 1, 2, 3!! Angel 
wins!! Angel jumps out of the ring. What is 
this! Taylor hugs Angel and the rest of the 
Triple Threat!! 

JW: Taylor is the NEW member of Triple Threat 
Inc.!! WOW!!

#9 MMI: Syxx Pac .v. Lance Manyon
(US Championship)

GD: This should be a good match!

JW: With Manyon, it has to be good!

GD: Syxx Pac is good too!

JW: Who cares! Manyon RULES!!

GDL: Both men are in the ring and they lock 
up. Syxx Pac has a headlock on Manyon. He 
runs against the ropes, but gets taken down 
by a Manyon shoulder block. Slam by Manyon. 
Neckbreaker by Manyon. Leg Drop by Manyon. 
Vertical Suplex by Manyon. Elbow Drop by 
Manyon. Hurricanrana by Manyon. 1, 2, 
kickout! Clothesline by Manyon.

JW: There we go!

GD: Power Bomb by Manyon. Manyon waits for 
Syxx Pac to get up. He goes for a Superkick, 
but Syxx Pac catches him. Spinning Heel Kick 
by Syxx Pac. Hurricanrana by Syxx Pac. 
Belly-to-Belly Suplex by Syxx Pac. Face 
Buster by Syxx Pac. Bronco Buster by Syxx 
Pac. Syxx Pac applies a Buzz Killer to 
Manyon. Manyon ducks and rams Syxx Pac into 
the turnbuckles! Manyon puts Syxx Pac on the 
top rope. Manyon goes up top. He goes for the 
Show's Over, but Syxx Pac backdrops Manyon. 
Wait, at the same time Manyon grabs Syxx Pac 
and uses a Modified Top Rop Powerbomb on Syxx 
Pac on his way down!!

JW: What a MOVE!!!

GD: 1, 2, 3!! Manyon is the NEW US Champion!!

JW: Manyon did it!! YEAH!!

GD: You are the biggest kiss-up I have ever 
seen!

JW: Ah, shut up!!

GD: Well we are just about out of time! We 
have crowned 1 NEW Champion and 4 more people 
have advanced to the Second Round of the 
Tourny! I am Gary Dawson...

JW: And I am Jim Wallace!

GD: And we will see Friday for Ramage!!
