FWA Monday Night Madness (2/15/99)

[The screen turns black...a faint buzing in 
the background. Slowly the darkness swirls 
and three letters written in blood 
red...F_W_A! All of a sudden FWA Theme Music begins 
playing as the camera goes to an above shot 
of the Florida State Fairgrounds in Tampa, 
Florida!! The arena is jam packed with FWA 
fans, all screaming and enjoying the 
pyrotechnics and lasers which errupt all over 
the building. The camera slowly moves closer 
and closer until finally reaching Gary Dawson 
and Jim Wallace at the broadcast booth.] 

GD: Welcome everyone to Monday Night 
Madness!! Tonight we have 8 matches including 
3 more First Round Tourny matches and our 
first Second Round match. We also have 2 
titles on the line too!!

JW: Hey sit down, shut up, and listen to me!! 
All those matches are great, but I am waiting 
for the Hardcore Championship match! Tonight 
it will be a Junkyard match between Pimp and 
Big Daddy!! That should be WILD!!

GD: Lets go to the action!!

#1 MG: Ric Money .v. Trent Walker

GD: They lock up. Clothesline by Money. 
Scissors Kick by Money. Powerbomb by Money. 
German Suplex by Money. Money goes up top and 
goes for a Flying Clothesline, but Walker 
moves! German Suplex by Walker. Bulldog by 
Walker. Death Valley Driver by Walker.

JW: For the first 10 minutes, we have seen 
some great action from these two!

GD: Gargoyle-plex by Walker. DDT by Walker. 
Walker lifts Money up for The Double Down, 
but Money thumbs Walker in the eyes. Drop 
Kick by Money. Money goes up top and connects 
with a Flying Clothesline. Sleeper by Money. 
Walker reverses it into a Jawbreaker. Both 
men are down!

JW: They have been fighting for 19 minutes 
now!

GD: Lou Thez Press by Walker. Walker picks up 
Money for a Powerbomb, but Money backdrops 
Walker. Kick and a DDT by Money. Money puts 
Walker on the top rope. He goes for a Jackpot 
Drop, but Walker reverses it into a 
Spinebuster/Powerbomb type of move! 1, 2, 
KICKOUT!! That was close! Wait the bell is 
ringing!!

JW: The 20 Minute Time Limit has expired! So 
this match is a Draw!! What a way to open!

#2 Flaming Hell in a Cell/Coal Miner's Glove 
Match- MP: Puppetmaster and MG: Paladin vs. 
Super Fly and The Franchise

GD: There is a cell around the ring with fire 
on it! Hung from the cell is a coal miner's 
glove. The first one to get it get to use it. 
You win by pinfall or submission!

JW: This should be great!!!

GD: Here we go! All 4 men brawl it out with 
each other! Puppetmaster and Fly quickly go 
to the outside and fight. Inside the ring, 
Paladin and Franchise fight. Suplex by 
Franchise. Neckbreaker by Franchise. Fly 
throws Puppetmaster into the steps. Fly grabs 
a chair and enters the ring. Fly and 
Franchise team up against Paladin. Piledriver 
by Fly. Franchise holds Paladin and Fly nails 
Paladin with a chair. Puppetmaster grabs a 
ladder and enters the ring. From behind, 
Puppetmaster nails both Fly and Franchise 
with the ladder!

JW: That has to hurt!!

GD: German Suplex by Puppetmaster. 
Puppetmaster nails Fly with a chair!! DDT by 
Puppetmaster on Franchise. He sets up the 
ladder. Puppetmaster starts to climb, but Fly 
grabs his foot. Paladin is back up and he low 
blows Fly. Puppetmaster grabs the glove. Kick 
and a DDT by Franchise on Paladin. Franchise 
covers Paladin, but Puppetmaster jumps off 
the ladder and nails Franchise in the back of 
the head with the glove!! Puppetmaster throws 
Fly outside the ring. He lands in the fire!! 
Fly is on fire! He is rolling on the floor 
and puts out the fire. The Carver by 
Puppetmaster! The Salvation by Paladin! 1, 2, 
3!! Puppetmaster and Paladin win!!!

JW: That match was ON FIRE!!!! HAHAHA!!

#3 MP: Beelbezub .v. Andre The Giant
(World Title Tourny/First Round)

GD: Andre attacks Beelbezub from the start. 
Choke by Andre. Punch and kicks by Andre. Big 
Boot by Andre. Powerslam by Andre. Andre goes 
to the top rope and he misses a Giant Splash! 
Mandible Claw by Beelbezub!! Andre submits!! 
Beelbezub wins!!

JW: Beelbezub won that match in 2 minutes!! 
WOW!!

#4 TTI: Mr. Monday Night .v. TTI: Tommy 
Taylor
(World Title Tourny/First Round)

GD: Here we go. They lock up. Headlock by 
MMN. MMN bounces off the ropes and connects 
with a Shoulder Block. Wait MMN covers 
Taylor! 1, 2, 3!!! MMN wins!!

JW: That was quick! MMN won in 15 seconds!! 
That was a powerful shoulder!

GD: Taylor gets up and shakes hands with MMN! 
They leave together! HMM! Looks like Taylor 
helped out a stablemate!!

JW: What are friends for!

#5 MMI: Flash Flanagan .v. MG: Rick Furious
(World Title Tourny/First Round)

GD: Furious clotheslines Flanagan before the 
bell! Furious starts to stomp on Flanagan. 
DDT by Furious. Suplex by Furious. Piledriver 
by Furious. Furious goes for a Hell's Fury, 
but Flanagan slams Furious into the corner! 
Kick and a Flash in the Pan by Flanagan! 1, 
2, 3!!! Flanagan wins!!

JW: Flanagan pulled off the win in 4 minutes!

#6 Lance Manyon .v. Gunslinger
(World Title Tourny/Second Round)

GD: This should be good!

JW: Of course it will be! Manyon is in it!

GD: They lock up. Drop Kick by Gunslinger. 
Cross Armbreaker by Gunslinger. Manyon 
reaches the ropes. Headlock and a Shoulder 
Block by Gunslinger. Piledriver by 
Gunslinger. Suplex by Gunslinger. Gunslinger 
goes for a Powerbomb, but Manyon reverses it 
into a Hurricanrana.

JW: Great move from Manyon!!

GD: DDT by Manyon. Bulldog by Manyon. 
Belly-to-Belly Suplex by Manyon. Powerbomb by 
Manyon. Manyon goes up top and hits with a 
Flying Elbow Drop on Gunslinger. Figure-Four 
by Manyon. 

JW: Gunslinger is in the middle and he can't 
get out!

GD: Wait Gunslinger rolls and reverses the 
move. Manyon goes for a Super Kick, but 
Gunslinger ducks. Kick and a Powerbomb by 
Gunslinger. D-Tonic by Gunslinger. Heart 
Punch by Gunslinger. Manyon rolls near the 
ropes. Gunslinger picks up Manyon. He is 
setting up Manyon for his new move, the BGF! 
He hits the BGF!! Gunslinger covers! 1, 2, 
Manyon puts his foot on the ropes!

JW: Manyon is smart! He rolled close to the 
ropes before Gunslinger used his finisher!

GD: Gunslinger picks up Manyon. Quick knee to 
the gut by Manyon. Super Kick by Manyon. 1, 
2, 3!!! Manyon wins!!

JW: That was a close match!!

#7 Jayzon Sanders .v. MMI: Kris Kanyon
(Lightweight Championship)

GD: They lock up. Headlock by Kanyon. 
Spinning Neckbreaker by Kanyon. Slam by 
Kanyon. Leg Drop by Kanyon. Back Suplex by 
Kanyon. Death Valley Driver by Kanyon. Suplex 
by Kanyon. Reverse Neckbreaker by Kanyon. 1, 
2, kickout! Kanyon whips Sanders into the 
ropes. Sanders hits Kanyon with a Body Press. 
Clothesline by Sanders. Spinning Powerbomb by 
Sanders.

JW: We have seen some great high-flying moves 
here!

GD: DDT by Sanders. Sander goes up top and 
connects with a Flying Elbow Drop. 1, 2, 
kickout! Bulldog by Sanders. Sanders goes for 
a Powerbomb, but Kanyon reverses it into a 
Hurricanrana. Powerbomb by Kanyon. 
Spinebuster by Kanyon. Kanyon goes for a 
Flatliner, but Sanders knees Kanyon. Prime 
Time by Sanders! 1, 2, Kanyon is in the 
ropes! Sanders is mad! He yells at the fans 
at ringside! From behind, Kanyon rolls up 
Sanders! Kanyon has the tights! 1, 2, 3!! 
Kanyon is the NEW Lightweight Champion!!!

JW: The fans and the devious tactics of 
Kanyon cost Sanders this match!

#8 TTI: Big Poppa Pimp .v. MMI: Big Daddy
(Hardcore Championship/Auto Junkyard Match)

GD: Both men are inside of a near-by junkyard 
in Tampa. Anything goes and normal pinfall 
rules apply.

JW: This is what I have been waiting for!! 

GD: Both men start off pounding away! Daddy 
knees Pimp. Daddy throws Pimp into a car! He 
chokes him with his boot. Elbows by Daddy. 
Knees by Daddy. Daddy charges with a 
clothesline, but Pimp moves and Daddy runs 
into the car! Hurricanrana by Pimp. Russian 
Leg Sweep by Pimp. Pimp gets on a car. 
Shooting Star Press by Pimp. Pimp picks up a 
pipe. He swings it at Daddy, but he ducks. 
Kick and a DDT by Daddy on the ground. Daddy 
nails Pimp with the pipe!

JW: This is GREAT!! I love these matches!

GD: Side Walk Slam by Daddy. Daddy picks up 
Pimp for a Snake Eyes, but Pimp slides behind 
Daddy and pushes him into the car. Drop Kick 
into the car by Pimp! DDT on the car by Pimp! 
Pimp gets on another car above this one. 450 
Splash by Pimp on Daddy off of one car onto 
another car!

JW: HOLY COW!! That was amazing!! 

GD: Pimp nails Daddy with a hubcap! Pimp 
powerbombs Daddy through a car windshield!!

JW: Daddy is busted wide open!!!

GD: Pimp stands Daddy up against a car. Pimp 
does one-half of the Pimp Strut. He goes for 
the Superkick, but Daddy moves and Pimp's leg 
goes through a car window!!

JW: Pimp's leg is covered in blood! 

GD: Daddy goes for a Jackknife Powerbomb, but 
Pimp starts pounding on Daddy. Pimp spins 
around and is now on Daddy's shoulders. 
Victory Roll by Pimp! 1, 2, 3!! Pimp wins!!

JW: What a match! Both men put their lives on 
the line for everyone here!!

GD: Both men are bloody and battered! They 
have to be helped back to the arena here! 
Wait we have been told that Pimp was attacked 
in the back by Steve Austin! Well we are just 
about out of time! For Jim Wallace, I am...

JW: He is Gary "Never Shuts Up" Dawson!!
