FWA Friday Night Rampage (2/5/99)

 
[The screen turns black and the letters, 
F...W...A slowly make their way onto the 
screen. The letters explode into darkness as 
the word "RAMPAGE" can now be seen. While the FWA Theme plays over the PA, we are taken inside the arena where thousands of screaming fans are standing. The camera pans the crowd and brings us to the announcers table at ringside where Gary Dawson is standing.] 

GD: Welcome everyone to Friday Night Rampage!! We are live from the Whittemore Center in Durham, NH!!! Tonight we have 6 matches with 2 titles on the line!! This should be a BIG night! We have 4 First Round matches in the Tourny to crown a NEW World Champion!! We also will have the DEADLY Hellfire match for the Hardcore Title! And then we will have a 20 Man Battle Royal for the TV Title!! Lets..

["Ready or Not" by The Fugees begins to play over the PA!]

GD: What is this!

[A sharp dressed man in an Armani suit makes his way to the broadcast table and takes a seat next to Gary Dawson.]

GD: Ladies and Gentlemen, lets welcome my NEW broadcast partner, Jim Wallace!!!

JW: I am glad to be here! I plan to add a lot of spice to the bland commentating of GD over here. No offense, of course!

GD: None taken. Lets go to our first match!

#1 Giant Silva .v. IM: The Iceman
(World Tourny/First Round)

GD: Silva has taken Dark Angel's place in the tourny, since Angel was asked to be taken out!

JW: What a idiot! Who would want to lose a chance at the World Title.

GD: Well he had his reasons.

JW: He is still an idiot!

GD: Iceman begins to pound on Silva. Kicks by Iceman. Suplex by Iceman. Slam by Iceman. Elbow Drop by Iceman. Silva struggles to get up. Iceman punches Silva. Silva fights back. 

JW: This Silva is HUGE! And he is powerful too! I like him!

GD: Clothesline by Silva. Slam by Silva. Leg Drop by Silva. Wait, Silva goes for a Choke Slam. But Iceman kicks him low!

JW: That gots to hurt!

GD: Iceman goes for his move. Here comes the Ice Age! No, Iceman can not get the big guy up! 

JW: Iceman hurt himself there!

GD: Choke Slam by Silva!! 1, 2, 3!! Silva wins!! He advances on!

JW: I don't know how he will do in the next round, but he will be a force to reckon with!

#2 Lance Manyon .v. Makivelli 

GD: What do you think about this match Jim?

JW: Don't really care about Makivelli, but I like this Manyon guy. He is smart, good-looking, and talented! Just like ME!!!

GD: They lock up. Elbow to the head of Makivelli by Manyon. Kick to the gut by Manyon. Manyon whips Makivelli into the ropes. Manyon smashes his forearm into Makivelli. Manyon picks up Makivelli. Russian Legsweep by Manyon. Brainbuster by Manyon. Piledriver by Manyon. l, 2, 3. No, Makivelli got his foot on the ropes just in time. Manyon picks up Makivelli. Manyon punches...Makivelli blocks it. Makivelli whips Manyon into the ropes. Makivelli sets him up on the top. Makivelli jumps up. Hurricarana...NO. Manyon reverses it into a devastating powerbomb! Manyon puts Makivelli on top! Show's Over by Manyon!! 1, 2, 3!! Manyon wins!!

JW: He will go on to face the winner of the next match!! 

#3 IM: Gunslinger .v. Smoothieking 
(World Tourny/First Round)

GD: Smoothieking attacks Gunslinger from the start. Smoothieking starts laying the boots to Gunslinger. Samaon Drop by Smoothieking. 1, 2, kickout. Double arm DDT by Smoothieking. Smoothieking whips Gunslinger into the ropes. Clothesline by Smoothieking that sends Gunslinger flying backwards. Gunslinger fell to the outside. Gunslinger stands up but is met with a baseball slide by Smoothieking. Smoothieking picks up Gunslinger. Gorilla Press on the metal guardrail by Smoothieking. The referee is yelling at them to get back in. Smoothieking rolls in the ring but rolls right out again. Smoothieking tosses Gunslinger into the stairs and Gunslinger hits hard. Smoothieking picks up Gunslinger and whips him into the steel post. Gunslinger reverses it and Smoothieking hits his head right on the metal post. Smoothieking is dazed. He doesn't know where he is. Gunslinger picks up a chair. He swings at Smoothieking but the ref. gets in the way. Gunslinger hits the ref. Gunslinger starts to work on Smoothiking's knee with the chair. Smoothieking ties up Gunslinger's legs with his feet. Gunslinger falls down. Smoothieking grabs the chair Gunslinger was using. Smoothieking nails Gunslinger in the head with the chair. Smoothieking rolls Gunslinger back into the ring just as the ref. is getting up. 1, 2, kickout!! 

JW: That was close!!

GD: Smoothieking goes outside the ring and grabs a chair. He jups back on the apron, but Gunslinger is up. He drop kicks the chair, which nails Smoothiesking in the face. Smoothieking goes flying ff the apron through our announce table!! MY GOD! He just came on top of us! Jim is down over him and the ref begins to count Smoothiesking out!

JW: SWEET MOTHER!! That was too close!!

GD: The ref has counted to 10 and Smoothieking has been counted out!!! Gunslinger advances to face Manyon!!

#4 MP: Lucifer .v. IM: Devil
(World Tourny/First Round)

GD: Lets re-group for this next match!

JW: Gunslinger has taken a seatat ringside waiting for the rest of his matches.

GD: They lock up. Low blow by Devil. DDT by Devil. Another DDT by Devil. But Lucifer blocks it. Atomic drop by Lucifer. Lucifer clotheslines Devil to the ground. Boston crab by Lucifer. Devil grabs for the ropes but Lucifer pulls him back to the center. Devil looks like he is going to power out. Lucifer turns around and hits Devil in the head. Lucifer breaks the Boston Crab. Lucifer picks up Devil. Devil with a scrape to the eyes of Lucifer. Jumping spinning heel kick by Devil. 1, 2, kickout. Powerbomb by Lucifer. Lucifer runs against the ropes. Big leg drop by Lucifer. Elbow drop by Lucifer. Lucifer climbs to the top ropes. He jumps off and smashes his knee into Devil's chest. 1, 2, Devil just kicks out. Piledriver by Lucifer. Lucifer picks up Devil and grabs him by the neck. Choke Slam by Lucifer!! 1, 2, 3!! Lucifer wins!!!

JW: Lucifer will face Giant Silva in the next round!! That should be good!

#5 TTI: Big Poppa Pimp vs. TTI: Dark Angel vs. MP: Beelbezub vs. MG: Paladin vs. MMI: Big Daddy vs. MMI: Kris Kanyon vs. IM: Gunslinger vs. MMI: Flash Flanagan vs. MG: Diamond Dogg vs. Smack Daddy
(Hardcore Championship/Hellfire Match)

GD: All 10 men are inside the cell. Weapons are everyone. It is every man for himself. To be eliminated you have to be pinned or you have to submit. I just hope this match does not get too brutal!

JW: Speak for yourself! Bring on the BLOOD!!!

GD: Here we go! Angel and Pimp are teaming up against Kanyon and Big Daddy! Beelbezub and Paladin are going at it. And Smack Daddy, Gunslinger, Flanagan, and Dogg are fighting on the outside of the ring. Gunslinger rams Smack Daddy into the cage. Flanagan and Dogg are pounding on each other on the other side. Inside the ring, Pimp uses a DDT on Big Daddy. Kanyon nails Angel. Beelbezub is kicking and choking away at Paladin in the corner.

JW: This is action! This is hard to call! This is HARDCORE!!!

GD: Dogg throws Flanagan into the steps. Smack Daddy kicks Gunslinger low. Dogg picks up a chair and nails Smack Daddy from behind with it! Flanagan nails Dogg from behind. Gunslinger is up now. Flanagan stomps on Dogg. Gunslinger uses the  on Smack Daddy! 1, 2, 3!! Smack Daddy is gone!! Gunslinger nails Flanagan. Back inside the ring, Beelbezub is helping Pimp pound on Kanyon. On the other side, Angel and Paladin throw Big Daddy outside! Gunslinger picks up a chair. He tries to hit Flanagan with it, but Flanagan kicks Gunslinger. Wait, Dogg picks up a baseball bat. He nails Flanagan with it from behind!! 1, 2, 3!! Flangan is gone!!

JW: Flangan's going to have a headache after that hit!

GD: Pimp throws Kanyon outside the ring. Big Daddy has made his way over to Gunslinger and Dogg. He has a chair. Kanyon gets up and grabs a chair and sneaks his way over there too. Dogg applies the Million $ Dream to Gunslinger. At the same time, Daddy and Kanyon swing their chairs from opposite sides of Dogg and Gunslinger. Daddy's chair nails Gunslinger in the face and Kanyon's chair nails Dogg in the back of the head! Daddy covers Gunslinger and Kanyon covers Dogg! 1, 2, 3!! Dogg and Gunslinger are gone! 

JW: MY GOD!! That was teamwork!!

GD: Kanyon and Daddy make their way back into the ring. Wait, Beelbezub applies a Mandible Claw to Daddy. Paladin kicks Kanyon and uses The Salvation on him!! 1, 2, 3!! Kanyon is gone! Daddy has given up also, so he is gone!! We are down to four!

JW: Pimp and Angel have been watching all this time.

GD: Double Clothesline by Pimp and Angel on Beelbezub and Paladin. DDT by Angel on Beelbezub. Power Bomb by Pimp on Paladin. Angel goes outside and brings a table inside the ring. Pimp grabs a chair. Angel sets up the table and puts Beelbezub on it. Angel goes to the top rope. Pimp hangs onto Beelbezub's feet. Angel jumps off the top rope, but at the same time, Paladin nails Pimp and pushes him onto the table. Angel then goes crashing through the table on both Pimp and Beelbezub!!

JW: Paladin is the only one alive!! 

GD: Beelbezub is is pain next the table. Pimp is still laying inside the table. Paladin picks up Angel for a Salvation Suplex. He has him in the air, but Paladin accidently trips over Beelbezub who is on the mat!! Angel falls on top of Paladin! 1, 2, 3!! Paladin is gone!! Wait, Pimp rolls over and drapes an arm over Beelbezub! 1, 2, 3!! Beelbezub is gone!

JW: Now we are down to two! But both are basically DEAD!! And they are both friends! What is going to happen here!!

GD: Angel struggles up! Low Blow by Pimp! Inside Cradle by Pimp! 1, 2, 3!! Pimp wins!! Pimp is the NEW Hardcore Champion!!

JW: What a match. Bodies are everywhere, including the NEW Champion!! 

GD: We need some help out here!! Some of these men have to be in the Battle Royal next!! Well, here comes help. The cage is lowered and the wrestlers who are in the Battle Royal have to stay there. We are just about ready now for the Battle Royal!!

#6 20 Man Battle Royal for the TV Championship

GD: All 20 men are in the ring and here we go!! Iceman is the first one gone, followed by Smack Daddy. Tommy Taylor is thrown out by Michaels. Flanagan is tossed out by two or three wrestlers. Next out is Smoothieking and then Trent Walker. Cyrus is dumped out by Puppetmaster. Lucifer, Beelbezub, and Puppetmaster are fighting with Pimp, MMN, and Dark Angel. Paladin and Dogg are fighting with Michaels and Sandman. Ego, Gunslinger, and Manyon are fighting too! Sandman is thrown out by Paladin. Michaels clotheslines Dogg out. Gunslinger gets backdropped outside by Ego. Paladin and Michaels hook it up one side of the ring. Puppetmaster throws out Pimp. Angel knocks out Beelbezub. Beelbezub grabs Mr. Monday Night from outside. Lucifer dumps MMN over the top. Manyon and Ego team up to toss both Michaels and Paladin over the top, while they were fighting. Lucifer and Puppetmaster work over Angel. Here comes Ego and Manyon to join the fun!

JW: We are down to 5!!!

GD: Manyon goes after Lucifer. Puppetmaster slings Ego into Lucifer and Manyon. Manyon goes over the top rope! Puppetmaster clotheslines out Ego! Double-Clothesline by Angel on Puppetmaster and Lucifer. People are still hanging out on the outside. Lucifer tries to get up but Michaels trips Lucifer form the outside. Beelbezub is down here and Pimp and MMN here too. Angel knocks Lucifer over the top with some help from Michaels. MMN grabs Puppetmaster. Clothesline by Angel and Puppetmaster goes out of the ring!! Angel wins!! Dark Angel is the NEW TV Champion!! 

JW: Angel got a little help from his friends! But he still won!

GD: We are really out of time!! I will see you Monday!!!
