FWA Friday Night Rampage (1/29/99)

[The screen turns black and the letters,
F...W...A slowly make their way onto the
screen. The letters explode into darkness as
the word "RAMPAGE" can now be seen. We are taken inside the arena where thousands of screaming fans are standing. The camera pans the crowd and brings us to the announcers table at ringside where Gary Dawson is standing.]

GD: Welcome everyone to Friday Night Rampage!! We are live from the Cox Arena in San Diego, CA!!! Tonight we have 9 matches with 3 titles on the line!! Lets go to the action!!

#1 IM: Rocky Maivia .v. Smoothieking

GD: They lock up. Drop Kick by Smoothie. Smoothie applies a Headscissors to Maivia. Neckbreaker by Smoothie. Slam by Smoothie. Smoothie goes for an elbow, but Maivia moves. Kicks by Maivia. DDT by Maivia. Leg Drop by Maivia. Slam by Maivia. People's Elbow by Maivia. Maivia goes for a Rock Bottom, but Smoothie kicks Maivia. Samoan Drop by Smoothie. Smoothie waits for Maivia to get up. He goes for a Harlem Kick, but Maivia ducks. Rock Bottom by Maivia, but Smoothie is in the ropes! Here comes Tanaka through the crowd. He slides under the bottom of the rope. He has a pair of Brass Knuckles and a chair in his hands. Smoothieking stops fighting with The Rock and turns around, Tanaka smashes him with the chair, while blood begins to trickle out of SmoothieKing's nose. The Rock then spots him and trys to run away, but Tanaka catches him before he gets through the ropes and smashes the pair of Brass Knuckles right across his face. The Rock is knocked out. Tanaka then pulls The Rock back into the ring, into the middle, and furiously begins pounding on him with the pair of Brass Knuckles, until the Rock is bleeding in several places. He thens hits Smoothie a couple more time and leaves the ring. The Ref tells the Ring keeper to ring the bell, the match is over!! This match is a Double DQ!! Here comes Big Poppa Pimp, Mr. Monday Night, and Al Coholic!! Each take turns giving the Rock chair shots to the head! Kerplunk from MMN from the apron to the floor!! Hoochie Call by BBP through a table!! Last Call by Al Coholic through another table!! MY GOD this is total MADNESS!!! This is just the first match!!

#2 Lance Manyon .v. Super Fly
(Pit of Glass Match)

GD: Both me are above the ring on a scaffold. Underneath them is glass everywhere. Fly starts to pound on Manyon. Manyon fights back. Slam by Fly. Leg Drop by Fly. Suplex by Fly. Piledriver by Fly. Suplex by Fly. Elbow drop by Fly. Fly goes for a DDT, but Manyon reverses it into a Northern Lights Suplex. Clothesline by Manyon. Hurricanrana by Manyon. German Suplex by Manyon. Super Kick by Manyon. Manyon sets up Fly for a Power Bomb, but Fly reverses it into a Hurricanrana. Both men are down. Wait, here comes Kane! He climbs the ladder and goes up to the scaffold. He grabs both men by the throat. He looks like he is going to Choke Slam both men into the glass, but Manyon and Fly both kick Kane. Fly pounds on Kane. Fly sets up Kane for a Running Powerbomb, but Manyon clotheslines Fly. The Show's Over by Manyon on Fly off of the scaffold into the glass!! 1, 2, 3!! Manyon wins!!!

#3 Undertaker .v. Time Bomb .v. IM: Devil
(Triple Threat Match)

GD: Time Bomb and Devil start off pounding on Taker. Suplex by Devil on Taker. DDT by Devil on Taker. Choke Slam by Time Bomb on Devil. Leg Drop by Time Bomb on Taker. Boot by Time Bomb to Devil. Time Bomb goes outside and grabs a chair. Taker kicks Time Bomb when he returns. Choke Slam by Taker on Time Bomb. Kick by Devil on Taker. Devil sets Taker up for a Heaven to Hell Powerbomb, but Taker slides behind Devil. Kick and a Tombstone on the chair by Taker on Devil! Time Bomb is back up. He nails Taker with The Explosion on top of Devil! Cover for 1, 2, 3!! Time Bomb wins!!!

#4 MP: Puppetmaster .v. MG: Diamond Dogg
(Best of 3 Falls/Falls Count Anywhere Match)

GD: Dogg and Puppetmaster start out fighting in the entrance way. Dogg throws Puppetmaster into the guardrail. Dogg drops Puppetmaster throat first across the railing. DDT on the floor by Dogg. Dogg throws Puppetmaster into the crowd. They fight their way up the stairs. Puppetmaster rakes Dogg's eyes. Puppetmaster hits Dogg and throws him against a concrete wall. Puppetmaster wraps some wire around the neck of Dogg. He is choking Dogg. Puppetmaster throws Dogg down a flight of stairs. Dogg lands in the back where the concesion stands are. Low Blow by Dogg. Dogg grabs a chair and nails Puppetmaster with it! He applies the Million $ Dream to Puppetmaster! He is out!! Dogg wins the first fall!! Dogg goes to apply another Dream to him, but Puppetmaster drops down and slings Dogg into the consession stand table. It looks like blood is coming from Dogg's mouth!! Puppetmaster is still dazed but he gets up. He sets up Dogg and uses The Carver on Dogg through a merchandise table!!! 1, 2, 3!! Puppetmaster wins the second fall!! Here comes Beelbezub. He nails Dogg with a massive chair shot that sends Dogg into the glass doors leading to the outside! Puppetmaster goes after Dogg outside the arena!! Puppetmaster throws Dogg into a nearby car! Puppetmaster uses The Carver on Dogg on top of a car!! 1, 2, 3!! Puppetmaster win this wild match!!!

#5 DX: Jayzon Sanders .v. MG: Cyrus The Virus
(Non-Title/No D.Q. Match)

GD: Cyrus starts pounding on Sanders. Side Walk Slam by Virus. Leg Drop by Virus. Suplex by Virus. Virus throws Sanders outside. Sanders slings Virus into the guardrail. Sanders grabs a table and brings it into the ring. He grabs a chair and brings it into the ring. He throws Virus into the ring. He swings the chair at Virus, but Virus ducks. Kick by Virus. Virus nails Sanders with the chair! He sets up the table. He puts Sanders on the top rope. Virus goes for a Jackknife powerbomb, but Sanders reverses it into a Frankensteiner off the top rope through the table!! Prime Time by Sanders!! 1, 2, 3!! Sanders wins!!! Wait, here comes Trent Walker with a DX shirt on again!! He gives Cyrus some massive chair shots to the head!!!

#6 TTI: Dark Angel .v. The Shocker
(Casket Match)

GD: Shocker and Angel punch it out. Suplex by Shocker. Power Bomb by Shocker. Leg Drop by Shocker. Shocker throws Angel to the outside. Shocker follows him. Rake to the eyes by Angel. Angel goes to hit Shocker, but Katherine, Shocker's valet, steps in front of Shocker. Angel picks her up and moves her out of the way. Shocker nails Angel. Angel reverses a whip and sends Shocker into the rails. Angel throws Shocker back in. Katherine gets on the apron now. Angel goes over to her and tells her to get down. From behind, Shocker low blows Angel. Pedigree by Shocker. Shocker goes over to the casket. He taps on it. Out comes Reptile!!!! Shocker say get him, but wait Reptile nails Shocker! Shocker's plan has backfired!! Reptile uses a Death Valley Driver on Shocker on the floor!! Reptile puts him on the apron. Angel picks up Shocker and nails him with The Eruption into the casket!!! Angel shuts the lid!! Angel wins!!! Angel drags out that cross again!! He ties Shocker to it! Now there are those chruch bells again!! Shocker is raised high into the air, next to the ring!

#7 MMI: Kris Kanyon and MMI: Big Daddy .v. MP: Lucifer and MP: Beelbezub
(Tag Team Championship)

GD: This a brawl from the start. They are not even in the ring. It is a war!! Punches are flying everywhere. Wait, chairs!!! Thats is it, the ref has lost control and he has called this match a No Contest!! MMI keep the belts though! We need some help down here! Here comes some people to break it up! Lets go on!

#8 IM: Sandman .v. DX: Tanaka
(T.V. Championship)

GD: All during this time, Shocker has still been up on that cross!! People have been throwing things at him too! They lock up. Drop Kick by Tanaka. Samoan Drop by Tanaka. Elbow by Tanaka. Tanaka slings Sandman into the ropes and tries a Cross Body Block, but Sandman moves out of the way. Diamond Cutter by Sandman. Hurricanrana by Sandman. Neckbreaker by Sandman. DDT by Sandman. Kick and Sandman goes for The Dreamer, but Tanaka gets out of it. Clothesline by Sandman. Sandman goes for a Powerbomb, but Tanaka reverses it into a Hurricanrana. DDT by Tanaka. Tanaka goes up top and The Flying Feather by Tanaka!! 1, 2, 3!! Tanaka ihe NEW TV Champion!!! What is this!! The Scorcher and Time Bomb come down to the ring and attack Tanaka!!! What the HELL is going on here!!

#9 Kid Ego .v. MMI: Syxx Pac
(US Championship)

GD: Both men are in the ring. They circle each other. Syxx Pac flexes his muscles at Ego. Ego goes down!!! He is out!! Syxx Pac covers for a 1, 2, 3!!! Syxx Pac is the NEW US Champion!!! What the HELL just happened!! Ego and Syxx Pac shake hands! Here comes the MMI! What the HELL is this! Here comes Flash Flanagan too!! He hugs Ego and Syxx Pac!! Does this mean Ego and Flanagan have joined MMI?!! We are really out of time!! 2 NEW Champs have been crowned!! I will see you Sunday for When Worlds Collide!!!
