Friday Night Rampage (1/1/99)
#1 Billy Gunn and Road Dog .v. NOD: Billa and NOD: Justin Long
Theres the opening bell to begin this night of competition. Road Dog and Justin Long are
starting out in the ring. They grapple, and Road Dog is flung into the ropes. Justin
clotheslines him on his way back. Road Dog gets up, and is met by a flurry of punches
from Long. Dog backs up and tags in Billy Gunn. Gunn charges Long and rams him into
the corner. Now a succesion of shoulder blocks from Gunn. Long pushes him away.
Gunn charges again, but Justin catches him with a DDT. Billa is tagged in by Long. Billa
now stomping away at the head of Billy Gunn. Billa bouncing off the ropes now and
going for a big elbow drop. Gunn moves out of the way with room to spare. Now its
Gunn stomping on Billa. Gunn picks up Billa and body slams him onto the mat. Road
Dog now tagged in. Savate kick by Road Dog. Billa is really hurting and needs to make
the tag. Dog smartly pulls Billa away from his corner and continues to beat on him with
repeated chops and clotheslines. Billa now trying to fight back. Kick to the stomach, and
a perfect power bomb executed by Billa. He slowly makes his way to his corner and tags
in Long. Long puts the ankle lock submission on Road Dog. Dog manages to grab the
ropes and get to his feet. But not for long. Long grabs him by the neck and choke slams
him onto the mat. Long executes the Meltdown Apacolypes. He covers Road Dog.
1........2......Gunn enters the ring and breaks the count. Now Billa comes in. As the
referee is removing Billa, Gunn piledrives Long and lays Road Dog on top of him.
1......2.......3. A victory for Road Dog and Billy Gunn.
#2 Dark Angel .v. MG: Diamond Dogg (Boiler Room Brawl)
Diamond Dogg is already in the Boiler Room waiting for Dark Angel. He is holding a
piece of a pipe in one hand, and a baseball bat in the other. Suddenly, Dark Angel flies in
from above with a cynder block in his hands!! As he falls from the
ceiling, he drops the
block right on Diamond Dogg's head. Dogg is out cold. Angel lands on his feet, and just
stares at Diamond Dogg. Than, without a word, he simply walks out of the building. A
victory of sorts for the Dark Angel.
#3 Duke Nukem .v. MG: Scarecrow
Scarecrow's first match in the FWA, and boy did he show us what he is made of. Duke
entered the ring first, but before he even got there, Scarecrow ran out of the dressing
room and attacked him on the outside of the ring. The referee won't start the match until
both competitors are in the ring. Scarecrow slams Duke into the steel steps, and than
rams his face into the ring post. Than he picks up Duke and throws him into the ring. He
climbs in after him, and the bell finally sounds the beginning of the match. Duke stands up
and readjusts his jaw. Scarecrow bounces off the ropes and drop kicks Duke to the
outside. Than, a fan in the front row starts to heckle Scarecrow. He turns around and
starts to scream at him. While Scarecrow is pointing and yelling at the fan, the referee
counts out Duke!! A victory for Scarecrow, but not the kind of victory
he wanted.
#4 MG: Cyrus the Virus .v. Blowfish
Both wrestlers making their debut in the FWA, and the match begins. The two rookies
lock up. Cyrus with a body slam. Blowfish gets up, and is put right back down with an
arm drag take down. Cyrus takes this opportunity to taunt and jeer at the fans. Blowfish
gets up and rams his shoulder into Cyrus' back, knocking him down. Blowfish than jumps
into the air, and lands belly to belly style on Cyrus. Blowfish pulls Cyrus to his feet and
throws him into the ropes. Cyrus ducks Blowfish's clothesline and grabs him around the
neck in a sleeper hold. Blowfish goes down. However, as he is losing consiousness, his
foot falls out of the ring, causing the ref to breck the hold. As Blowfish slowly gets to his
feet, Cyrus kicks him in the gut and executes the Jacknife Powerbomb.
1.......2........3.
It's over and Cyrus gets his first victory.
#5 nWo: Violent J .v. Ryan Burns
The referee signals for the bell, and the match begins. Burns drop kicks J. Burns picks
him up and DDTs him onto the mat. Ryan throws J into the corner and climbs up to the
second rope. Ryan now with a multitude of punches on Violent J. The referee finally gets
into the match, and forces Burns down. While Burns is arguing with the ref, Violent J has
time to regain his sences. J grabs Burns around the neck from behind and nails him with a
backwards DDT. This is quickly followed up by a German Suplex. 1........2........kick out
by Burns. Violent J acts quickly by applying a swinging neck breaker followed by the
Chicken Plucker. 1........2.........3. This one is over and you can
chalk up a victory for the
nWo, and Violent J.
#6 Triple H .v. Smack Daddy and Bret Hart (Handicap Match)
Each member has brought their country's flag to the ring with them. Triple H with Old
Glory and Smack Daddy and Bret with the Maple Leaf. The match begins with Triple H
and Bret Hart in the ring. HHH with a kick to Bret's midsection followed up by a
European uppercut. Bret retaliates with a drop kick and a few stomps to the head. As
HHH gets to his feet, Bret tags in Smack Daddy and they both go to work. Bret
clotheslines HHH and begins to repeatedly drop his knee onto his head while Smack
Daddy plants his elbow into HHH's knee. The referee finally gets Bret out of the ring.
Smack Daddy picks up HHH and lifts him high into the air, dropping him on his head.
Smack Daddy walks over to Triple H's corner and grabs the Stars and Stripes. Than, The
Cripplers come out from the dressing room armed to the teeth. Big Sexy has a bat, and
Lone Wolf has a crowbar. Croc stands on the outside of the ring as Wolf, Sexy, and HHH
beat on Bret and Smack Daddy. Bret's knee is shattered by the crowbar as Smack
Daddy's skull is opened up by the bat. The referee has called for the bell as security
seperates the athletes. Triple H has lost by DQ, but he taught Bret and Smack Daddy a
lesson that they won't soon forget.
#7 DD: Wayne Breck .v. nWo: Sandman (Weapons Match)
This is Sandmans first of two appearances tonight, as he will also be representing the nWo
in the Stable Championship Battle Royal match later on tonight. Both wrestlers bring
numerous weapons to the ring. When the bell sounds, Sandman is holding a baseball bat,
and Breck has a crowbar. They both rush each other, swinging their respective weapons.
Breck hits Sandman's arm with the crowbar, knocking the bat away. Wayne than hits him
in the knee. Sandman drops to his stomach and rolls to the outside. He picks up a can of
pepper spray, and pretends to be hurt. Breck jumps out of the ring and confidently
approaches Sandman. Sandman jumps to his feet and sprays Breck in the eyes. Wayne
screams and drops the crowbar, which Sandman picks up. He than hits Wayne repeatedly
on his head and shoulders until he falls over onto his back. Sandman hobbles over to the
ring and climbs in. He climbs to the top rope, and leaps into the air. He lands on top of
Breck so that the crowbar is forced into his skull. Sandman forces Breck to his feet and
hits him in the stomach with the bar. This is quickly followed up by the Dreamer and a
1,2,3. Sandman wins, but he may have injured his knee, and his teams chances later
tonight.
#8 Lance Manyon .v. Gendrel (Hell in a Cell)
Lance Manyon sure showed this rookie a thing or two about competition in the FWA.
Manyon with a DDT closely followed by a knee drop and an elbow to the head. Gendrel
stands, and is leveled by a clothesline. Right after that, Shows Over.
1......2.......3. And
just like that, Lance Manyon has yet another victory.
#9 MG: Ric Money .v. MST: Rob VAn Adams and MST: Davy Funk
Adams and Funk start off quickly attacking Money. Clothesline by Adams. Spin Wheel Kick by Adams. Huricanrana by Adams. Tag to Funk. Piledriver by Funk. Power Bomb by Funk. Funk goes for a Funkbuster, but Money reverses it into a Suplex of his own. German Suplex by Money on Funk. Sleeper by Money on Funk. Adams comes in and kicks Money in the back of the head. Money is dazed, but uses a Savate Kick on Adams. Clothesline by Funk on Money. Funkbuster by Funk on Money. Tag to Adams. Adams slings Money into the ropes and Money counters with a Flying Clothesline. Power Bomb by Money on Adams. Money puts Adams on the top rope. Here comes Funk, but he gets a Savate Kick to the face by Money. Jackpot Drop by Money on Adams!! 1, 2, 3!! Money wins!!
#10 NLS: D-Lo Brown .v. MG: Paladin (No DQ)
This match was very important to both wrestlers. D-Lo wanted to proove himself, and Paladin saw it as the next step on his way to defeating the NLS. Paladin makes his way to
the ring accomponied by Ric Money. Money stands on the outside as the bell sounds to
begin the match. D-Lo seems a little nervous that Ric is on the outside of the ring.
Paladin wastes no time in peppering D-Lo with lefts and rights and landing him on his
back. Brown stands up and is drop kicked through the ropes by Paladin. Money casually
walks over to where D-Lo is laying and puts out his hand as if to help him up. D-Lo
wisely refuses the hand and starts to back away from Ric. However, he forgets about
Paladin, who sails off of the top rope and hits D-Lo with a double axehandle. Paladin
picks up Brown and tosses him back into the ring. D-Lo is hoisted into the air and
slammed down on his head by Paladin. Paladin than executes the Final Act, putting D-Lo
out for the 1-2-3.
#11 nWo: Tanaka .v. NLS: The Shocker (Lightweight Championship Hell in a Cell)
The men enter the ring, and the cage is lowered. Undertaker is at ringside to help out
Shocker. However, as soon as the cage is down, Duke Nukem runs in from the dressing
room carrying a blowtorch and a steel chair. He sees the Undertaker, and hits him with
the chair. Undertaker is momentarily stunned and Duke starts to burn a hole in the cage.
He enters the cage with Undertaker close on his heels. As Tanaka and Shocker exchange
lefts and rights inside the ring, Duke and Undertaker do the same on the outside. Duke
manages to scramble into the ring and aims the chair at Shocker's knee. Undertaker grabs the chair from Duke and nails him over the head with it. The referee has called for the bell
and it looks like this one will be ruled a double DQ.
12. Stable Championship/Battle Royal- nWo vs. MMI vs. NLS vs. TT vs. TC
All 15 men are in the ring. It is a war in there. Al Coholic is the first one gone. Diesel gets tossed out by Undertaker. The Croc is eliminated by Big Poppa Pimp. Kanyon is tossed out by Tanaka. Mr. Monday Night throws out Lone Wolf. Big Sexy throws out Mr. Monday Night. Big Poppa Pimp clotheslines Big Sexy out of the ring. The Cripplers are eliminated. Over in the other corner, Sandman, Tanaka, and Makivelli have thrown out both Taker and Kane! Taker and Kane are mad. They quickly go to the back. Syxx Pac throws out Big Poppa Pimp and the Triple Threat are gone. Wait, here comes Taker and Kane back with 3 big monsters!! Here comes Giant Gonzalez, Giant Silva, and Andre The Giant with Taker and Kane!!! They enter the ring and take out Sandman, Tanaka, and Makivelli!! Then they leave. From behind, Syxx Pac throws out Shocker!! Syxx Pac wins!! MMI are the NEW Stable Champions!! Here comes the nWo! nWo and NLS are going at it! We are out of time!! I will see you Monday!!
