Thursday Night Terror (6/3/99)
[The screen turns black and the letters,
F...W...A slowly make their way onto the
screen. The letters explode into darkness as
the word "TERROR" can now be seen. While the FWA Theme plays over
the PA, we are taken inside the arena where
thousands of screaming fans are standing. The camera pans the crowd and brings us to the
announcers table at ringside where Gary
Dawson is standing.]
GD: Welcome everyone to a special Thursday Night Terror!! We are live from the Gund Arena in Cleveland, OH!!! Tonight we have 8 matches for you including 3 Title matches!! Lets go to the action!!
#1 Jeff Major .v. Jack the Stripper
GD: Our first match will be Jack the Stripper facing off against Jeff Major. Here we go, Major clotheslines him right off the bat. Then he jumps on him with a series of punches to the face. He pins, 1, 2 shoulder up. Major picks him up and sends him to the corner. He charges into the corner for a clothesline but Jack ducks climbs up top and punches away at him, 1..2..3..4..5..6..7, OH WAIT, Major hooks his arms around his legs and carries him to the middle ring and he's gonna Powerbomb him! Oh he broke him in half! Major goes for another pin, 1, 2, 3!! No he got his shoulder up just in time! This is exiting. Major sends him back to the corner. He places him up top on the top turnbuckle. He's gonna go for a top rope Superplex. Wait, his foot just slipped off and the two men go crashing to the outside and Major nailed the guardrail! Ouch that has got to hurt very much. Both men are down and appear to be unconscious. The ref begins the count. 1…2…3…4…5…6…7…8…9, Wait Stripper rolls back inside, 10! This match is over. Stripper wins by Countout! That was an upset, but Major is just not the same man from awhile back! I hope he is ok though. Be back after this message from the next WFWA Interleague PPV announcement!

#2 SI: Shabazz Johnson .v. Johnny Studds
GD: Both men are in the ring and here we go! Spinning Heel Kick by Shabazz. Gorilla Press Slam by Shabazz. Piledriver by Shabazz. Shabazz goes up top. Flying Clothesline by Shabazz. Shabazz goes for a Frankensteiner, but Studds turns it into a Powerbomb! Snap Suplex by Studds. German Suplex by Studds. Reverse DDT by Studds. Neckbreaker by Studds. Piledriver by Studds. Camel Clutch by Studds. Shabazz is in the ropes. Kick by Studds. Studd Drop by Studds! Studds now picks up Shabazz. Studds goes for The Enigma, but Shabazz turns it into a Frankensteiner! Kick and a DDT by Shabazz. Slam by Shabazz. Shabazz sets up Studds for his move by strutting around Studds! The Strutting Elbow by Shabazz!! 1, 2, 3!! Shabazz wins!!! Back after this!

#3 Mr. T. Riffic .v. Big Time Willie
GD: They lock up. Kick and a DDT by Willie. Neckbreaker by Willie. Elbow Drop by Willie. Willie goes up top. Flying Headbutt by Willie. Cross-Face Chicken Wing by Willie. Wait Riffic backs Willie into the corner breaking the hold! Choke Slam by Riffic. Piledriver by Riffic. Powerbomb by Riffic. Riffic sends Willie into the corner and hits a Splash! Big Boot by Riffic. Riffic goes up top. Moonsault by Riffic. Riffic puts Willie on the top rope. Riffic climbs up. Willie fights off Riffic and pushes him to the mat. Another Flying Headbutt by Willie. Tiger Bomb by Willie. Camel Clutch by Willie. Willie lets go and picks up Riffic. Wait knee to the gut by Riffic! Riffic goes for a Tombstone, but Willie reverses it into his own Tombstone Piledriver! Willie puts Riffic up top. Willie climbs up. Wait here comes 5 masked men dressed in black! They attack Willie!! The ref rings the bell! The masked men and Riffic stomps away at Willie! Here comes some officials to break this up! Willie wins this match by DQ!! We will be back!!

#4 NLS: Reptile .v. HSI: Eddie Gilbert .v. Malice
(Triple Threat Match/#1 Contender to TV Title)
GD: Welcome back from the commercial break. Right now it's time for one of the main matches of the evening. And here comes Eddie Gilbert now. He's in the ring now and Reptile is now on his way out. Reptile runs to the ring and dives in. The two start brawling and Malice isn't even here yet. Wait here he comes his music isn't even playing. Eddie knocks down Reptile with a punch and Malice dives into the ring. Malice clips Eddie's leg from behind. Reptile gets up and decks Malice. Malice and Reptile begin to brawl and Eddie gets up, Reptile and Malice turn and start wailing on Eddie now. Eddie blocks Malice's punch and hits a dropkick. He gets up and tries for a dropkick on Reptile but he moves out of the way. Malice gets up and clotheslines Reptile down from behind. Malice follows up with a sort of ankle lock submission. Reptile is screaming out in pain. Gilbert rolls out of the ring and watches the two fight it out. Malice sees this and him and Rep exit the ring and run after Eddie. Malice slings Eddie into the guardrail. What a match everyone. Now Rep and Malice beat down Eddie. Malice turns on Reptile and beats him down with some punches and sends him into the ring post. Malice dives in the ring and stops the ref's count. Malice runs to the other side and comes back and nails a beautiful baseball slide on Eddie sending him over the guardrail. Reptile dives into the ring and Malice greets him with a kick to the head. He then sends Reptile to the ropes. Malice bends over for a back body drop but Reptile catches him into a swinging neckbreaker. Reptile hooks on the Lion Tamer to Malice. Eddie climbs over the guardrail and enters the ring. He goes up top and waits. He then jumps off and hits a missile dropkick on Reptile while doing the Lion Tamer! Eddie rolls Malice over, One, Two, kickout! That was close. Reptile is lying there holding his back. Eddie walks over to him ad pins. But Malice just throws him off. Malice stomps on Eddie for a little bit and picks him up. Reptile gets up. Malice sends Eddie to the ropes. Eddie comes back and Malice ducks as Eddie leapfrogs him. BUT WAIT, REPTILE CATCHES HIM, DEATH VALLEY DRIVER!!! Reptile gets back up and throws his arms in the air with excitement. Malice walks over to him and turns him around, MALICIOUS INTENT! Wait luckily Reptile falls outside! Malice goes outside after him. Wait Gilbert is up and he hits the Hot Flash from the top rope to the outside on Malice!! Gilbert rolls Reptile back inside. Reptile has had some time to recover. He is back up. Gilbert is on the top rope and he goes for a Hot Flash, but Reptile moves! Death Valley Driver by Reptile on Gilbert!! 1, 2, 3!! Reptile wins!!! We'll be back after this commercial break.

#5 SI: Big Daddy Dick .v. Duke Nukem
(Hardcore Championship/No DQ Match)
GD: Here we go! Both men punch it out! This should be a war! Drop Kick by Nukem. Sleeper by Nukem. Wait Jawbreaker by Dick. Dick goes outside and grabs a chair. Suplex by Dick. Wait here comes Bombshell. She has a Duke Atomic chair. She nails Miss Butt and Miss Breast Suffocator, who are at ringside, with the chair! Then she sits down in that chair. Swinging Neckbreaker by Dick. Dick nails Nukem with the chair! Whip to the ropes by Dick. Spear by Dick. Piledriver by Dick. Dick goes outside and slides in a table. Wait Nukem is up and he gives Dick a Knee Stomp! Spear by Nukem. Clothesline by Nukem. Big Boot by Nukem. Nukem nails Dick with the chair. Nukem sets up the table. Nukem puts Dick on the table. Nukem goes up top. Nukem goes for a Flying Elbow Drop, but Dick moves and Nukem hits the table! Dick grabs Nukem and goes for a Pimp Drop through the table, but Nukem elbows Dick! Kick and a Powerbomb through the table by Nukem!! Nukem now goes outside and grabs another table. Nukem slides the table inside and sets it up. Nukem sets up Dick now. He goes for the Nuclear Meltdown, but Dick slides behind Duke! Kick and Dick goes for a Pimp Drop, but Bombshell gets into the ring and gives Dick some Butt and Breast Suffocation!! Duke spins Dick around and kicks him! Nuclear Meltdown by Duke!! 1, 2, 3!! Duke is the NEW Hardcore Champion!!! With some help from Bombshell! They leave together. We will be right back!

#6 Iceberg .v. MP: Lucifer
(TV Championship)
GD: Okay folks, this is for the FWA Television Title and both men are now in the ring and Lucifer's 15 disciples are at ringside. They lock up. Suplex by Lucifer. Lucifer smashes iceberg's head into the turnbuckle. Lucifer goes into attack Iceberg, but Iceberg now pounding away at Lucifer and sends him into Lucifers corner. Iceberg is now kicking away at Iceberg like a maniac, and the ref comes in to break it. Iceberg goes to attack again but Lucifer grabs his arm and whips him over the ropes. Lucifer now heads outside as the ref starts the count. Lucifer slams him into the railing and Lucifer grabs his hair and looks like he's gonna slam him into the stairs but Iceberg with a snap mare takeover. Iceberg picks him up and firemans carry into the steps. Now Iceberg is pounding away at Lucifer, the ref has now counted to 15 and Iceberg goes back in the ring, and Lucifer follows. Lucifer paces around trying to get into the ring without getting attacked by Iceberg, but Iceberg is waiting for wait. Wait, what's his, Lucifer heads top rope to jump in but Iceberg stops him, and ouch Lucifers jewels hits the turnbuckle. Iceberg with a body slam from top Rope. Now he knee drops the back of Lucifers head. Lucifer gets up and Lucifer goes to kick, but Iceberg grabs his foot, BUT Lucifer with the Spin Wheel Kick! Iceberg stumbles up, and Lucifer gets him the Chokeslam, but Iceberg counters, with a kick and the ICE PICK! Lucifer has been hit with the ICE PICK, ITS OVER! Pin and the ref counts, 1, 2, 3!! The timekeeper is ringing the bell!

#7 HSI: Tanaka .v. Big Daddy
(Non-Title Match)
GD: This match is under way, and thats right, as a special suprise, the president of the company himself is the ref for this match! Scorcher is also at ringside protecting Tanaka. Big Daddy and Tanaka lock up. Scoop Slam by Big Daddy. Tanaka gets up but Double Axehandle by Big Daddy. Big Daddy goes to Irish Whip tanaka into the turnbuckle, but Tanka reverses it and gives Big Daddy a solid clothesline. German Suplex by Tanaka. Flying Headbutt by Tanaka. Bear Hug by Tanaka. Tanaka goes to Choke Big Daddy but Big Daddy turns it into a DDT. Big Daddy lifts him up, and Brainbuster! Daddy picks up Tanaka. Daddy goes for a Big Daddy Drop, but Tanaka backdrops Daddy! Tanaka then clotheslines Daddy outside. The momentum sends Tanaka outside too! Tanaka and Daddy trades punches on the outside while the ref makes a count! Wait Daddy has a chair! Tanaka nails Daddy. Tanaka picks up the chair, but Daddy lowblows him! Daddy sends Tanaka into the steel steps! Daddy tries to hit Tanaka with the chair, but Tanaka moves! Kick and a big DDT on the floor by Tanaka! Wait the bell is ringing! The ref has counted both men out!! Tanaka does not look happy, but he keeps his title. He grabs his belt and leaves. These two will have to settle their issue on another day! We will be back with our Main Event!!

#8 HSI: Lance Manyon .v. Kris Kanyon
(World Championship)
GD: Duke Nukem has come out and joined me at the announce table.
DN: Yep I sure have. I am just here to watch this great match closeup.
GD: Alright. Kanyon comes out first. Then Manyon makes his way to the ring. The bell rings and here we go! They lock up. Headlock by Kanyon. Shoulder Block by Kanyon. Drop Kick by Kanyon. Kanyon slings Manyon into the corner. Kanyon hits a Splash into the corner.
DN: Kick and a Swinging Neckbreaker by Kanyon. Kanyon goes for a cover! 1, 2, kickout!
GD: Kanyon puts Manyon on the top rope. Kanyon climbs up. Kanyon goes for a Superplex, but Manyon pounds on Kanyon and pushes him off onto the top rope! Flying Elbow Drop by Manyon.
DN: Manyon is in controll now. Manyon now stomps on the legs and back of Kanyon.
GD: STF by Manyon. Kanyon is in the ropes! Elbow Drop to the back of Kanyon by Manyon. Leg Drop to the back of Kanyon by Manyon. Manyon stomps away at Kanyon's leg. Ankle Lock by Manyon. Kanyon grabs the ropes, but Manyon pulls Kanyon back in the middle with an Ankle Lock!
DN: Kanyon is in trouble now! But he is not giving up. Manyon lets go and goes back to work on the legs of Kanyon!
GD: Backbreaker by Manyon. Bulldog by Manyon. Knife Edge Chop by Manyon. Reverse DDT by Manyon. Powerbomb by Manyon. Camel Clutch by Manyon. Wait Kanyon is starting to get up with Manyon on his back. Kanyon is up and he drops back and slams Manyon!
DN: That took some leverage and power to do that! Kanyon is now up. Savate Kick by Kanyon. Death Valley Driver by Kanyon.
GD: Swinging Neckbreaker by Kanyon. Powerbomb by Kanyon. Kanyon now picks up Manyon. Kanyon goes for the Death Valley Flatliner, but Manyon clips Kanyon's legs! Figure-Four by Manyon!
DN: Kanyon is in the middle of the ring! Wait Kanyon starts to turn it over. He does! Manyon releases the hold!
GD: Kanyon goes for a Clothesline, but Manyon ducks. Wait Super Kick by Manyon! Here comes Iceberg! Wait Reptile and Redman come from the crowd and cut him off!
DN: Wait some guy comes up behind Iceberg. Iceberg turns around and it is Falcon! Falcon shoves Iceberg! Iceberg just stands there staring at him!
GD: Back in the ring, Kanyon has lowblowed Manyon from behind who has been watching the action outside! Wait the arena's lights start to glow red, and a man appears up in the rafters!! Who is that?!?!
DN: That's Scorpion, but he's supposed to be dead!
GD: WHO?!?!
DN: Long story. Look he points a steel chair at Kanyon! Kanyon looks up and see Scorpion. He does not know that is. Wait from behind, Manyon rolls up Kanyon!! 1, 2, 3!! Manyon wins!!!
GD: Kanyon looks mad! He looks back up at the rafters, but that man is gone! Manyon grabs his belt and leaves! Kanyon is pissed off!
DN: You could say Scorpion helped Manyon. But Manyon really did not need it.
GD: We are out of time! Iceberg and Falcon are still in a stare down. A guy named Scorpion has appeared and distracted Kanyon giving Manyon the win! So many questions but very little answers! I will see you Sunday for When Worlds Collide 3!!
