Friday Night Rampage (4/16/99)
[The screen turns black and the letters,
F...W...A slowly make their way onto the
screen. The letters explode into darkness as
the word "RAMPAGE" can now be seen. While the
FWA Theme plays over
the PA, we are taken inside the arena where
thousands of screaming fans are standing. The
camera pans the crowd and brings us to the
announcers table at ringside where Gary
Dawson is standing.]
GD: Welcome everyone to Friday Night
Rampage!! We are live from the Miami Arena in Miami, FL!!!
Tonight we have 5 matches for you including 2
Titles on the line, plus 3 Tag Title Tourny
matches!! Lets go to the action!!!
#1 AFI and Cid Sepheroth .v. MP: Poppa Bear
and MP: Sandman
(Tag Team Title Tourny Match)
GD: Poppa Bear and Sandman walk out as "How
Do You Want It" by 2pac plays up on the PA.
Poppa Bear and Sandman stretch up on the
ropes as AFI and Cid Separoth walk out to the
ring with "Weight of the World" by Good
Riddance on the PA. The bell rings, Cid and
Poppa Bear start this one up. They lock up,
and scoop slam by Poppa Bear. Poppa Bear
locks on an armlock and Cid gets out, Poppa
Bear grabs Cid and tags in
Sandman, and Sandman goes to DDt, but Cid
gets out of Poppa's hold and clotheslines
Sandman. Poppa goes
over to Cid and big boot by Cid. Sandman
clotheslines Separoth and Poppa Bear rolls
out of the ring. Separoth gives Sandman a
DDT. Separoth locks him up with a Sleeper and
Poppa Bear goes to break the hold, but AFI
comes in and gives him and drop kick and send
him over the top rope. AFI gets otu and Cid
pins 1,2, kickout.
Cid tags in AFI. Sandman starts to get up,
but AFI stomps him to the turnbuckle. AFI
picks up Sandman for a
scoop slam. AFI goes up top to do a frog
splash, but Sandman rolls out of the way.
Both men aren't getting up, they try to tag
their partners in, as the ref counts,
1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 AFI stumbles up and tags in
Cid Separoth and Sandman barely tags in Poppa
Bear, Cid goes over to clothesline Poppa
Bear, but he ducks and turns around to
give him a side kick. Poppa Bear picks him up
and gives him a brainbuster. Cid barely gets
up and turns around, and Poppa Bear knocks
him down with an uppercut. Poppa Bear gets
Cid in the Bear Claw, and Cid looks hurt.
AFI and Sandman both run in and AFI goes over
to kick Poppa off but Flying Headbutt by
Sandman into AFI. Cid trys to reach the ropes
and is starting to fight back but Poppa Bear
pulls back harded. Cid taps out. Poppa Bear
and Sandman win!! Wait here comes Malice and
Vanessa with a neck brace on! Malice goes
into the ring and attacks all 4 men!! Wait
Vanessa attack Amy Burns on the outside!!
Then Vanessa nails Trickie with a chair!!
Vanessa and Malice leave together and leave
the rest behind!
#2 HSI: Flash Flanagan and HSI: Eddie Gilbert .v. TC: Super Fly and TC: The Franchise
(Tag Team Title Tourny Match)
GD: Super Fly and The Franchise come out to "Bout It Bout It" by Master P. Then "Purple Haze" by Jimi Hendrix plays over the PA as Flanagan and Gilbert enter the ring. Eddie Gilbert and The Franchise start things off. Gilbert whips Franchise against the ropes. Hurricanrana by Gilbert. Leg Drop
by Gilbert. Gilbert puts Franchise in a
Boston Crab. Franchise reaches the ropes.
Gilbert picks up The Franchise. Savate Kick
by Gilbert. Gilbert tags in Flanagan.
Flanagan gets to the top rope. Big Leg Drop
by Flanagan, but The Franchise moves out of
the way and Gilbert hits hard. Franchise tags
in Super Fly. Super Fly starts kicking
Flanagan. Low Blow by Flanagan. Rake to the
eyes by Flanagan. Flanagan whips him against
the ropes. Drop Toe Hold by Flanagan and
Super Fly goes falling to the outside.
Gilbert gets to the top rope. He jumps off
and lands on Super Fly's chest with his knee!
They're both hurt. The referee starts the
count on Super Fly...

Franchise tries to get the Super Fly back in
but Flanagan blocks him... Seven...
Eight... Gilbert is back inside!!

Ten!! Super Fly has been counted out!!

GD: Beelzebub and Slayer start things off.
Beelzebub whips Slayer into the ropes. Big

Beelzebub tags in Lucifer. Double Suplex by
Lucifer and Beelzebub. Lucifer whips Slayer
into the ropes. Clothesline by Lucifer.
Single Arm DDT by Lucifer. Piledriver by
Lucifer. Swinging Neckbreaker by Lucifer.
Lucifer whips Slayer into the ropes. Slayer
tags in Asmodeus on his way. Lucifer doesn't
realize this and starts to punch Slayer.
Asmodeus gets to the top rope. Missile
Dropkick to the back of Lucifer's head by
Asmodeus. Asmodeus picks him up. Russian
Legsweep by Asmodeus. And another Russian
Legsweep. Asmodeus covers....

Two...
Beelzebub breaks the pin...
Beelzebub starts laying the boats to
Asmodeus. Slayer tries sneak up on Beelbezub,
but Beelbezub turns around and applies a
Mandible Claw to Slayer!! Lucifer is back up
and he grabs Asmodeus! Choke Slam by Lucifer
on Asmodeus!! 1, 2, 3!! Lucifer and Beelezub
win!!

GD: Well this will be VERY WILD! Lets go live
to the Miami shore. Out there is a yacht
where 11 wrestlers will fight it out! The
last man standing on the boat will be the NEW
Hardcore Champion!! Everyone is on the boat
EXCEPT Kevin Cruz AND Paladin! Here we go! Lo
Wang and Gunslinger team up to attack
wrestlers. Perseus has his back to one
corner. Big Daddy and Iceberg go at it! Poppa
Bear and Trilogy X go it it too! Gunslinger
and Wang attack Walker! They try to throw him
out, but Dick stops them! Wait Poppa Bear
dumps Trilogy X out of the boat!! X is the
first one gone! Walker goes over to Perseus
and tells him to help him fight the other
guys. Perseus looks at Walker and does
nothing. Dick comes over and clotheslines
Walker out of the boat! DDT by Perseus on
Dick! Wait here comes Cruz out of a hatch
with a lead pipe! He nails Iceberg with it
and Iceberg goes out of the boat! Wait
Iceberg jumps back up and drags Cruz out of
the boat! Both are gone now! 7 men left! Wait
the cameras go to the control room where they
see that the Black Dragon has taken over the
ship and is sailing it towards a
thunderstorm! MY GOD! Dragon now gets out of
the control room and goes to help Big Daddy
Dick. Dick and Dragon team up against
Gunslinger and Wang! Poppa Bear goes to help
Wang, but Perseus takes advantage and dumps
Bear outside of the boat!! Wait Dragon gets
backdropped into the water by Gunslinger.
Dragon grabs hold of Gunslinger though. Dick
knocks down Wang. Wait Wang trips up Dick,
and Gunslinger ducks and Dick goes flying out
of the boat! 5 men left! Wait the boat is now
in a thunderstorm and it starts to rain on
the wrestlers! Wait we hear something is
going on at the dock! Scorcher is fighting
with AFI and Cid!! Cid and AFI were trying to
get on a boat, but Scorcher cut him off
before they could get there!! Wait now Big
Daddy, Gunslinger, and Lo Wang have all
ganged up on Perseus. Perseus is holding his
own though! Wait here comes a boat crew
member and he HELPS them attack Perseus! Wait
here comes another boat crew member and nails
the first boat crew member with an oar!! What
the HELL!! Wait the boat crew member takes
off the fallen crew member's disguise and it
is Paladin!!! Wait the other crew member is
Kid Ego!! My GOD!! Ego has attacked Paladin!!
Ego continues to beat on Paladin with that
oar until his bloody!! Finally Ego throws
Paladin out of the boat!! Meanwhile Wang uses
a Hurricanrana on Big Daddy into the water!!
Daddy is gone!! And all this has happened in
a DAMN thunderstorm!!! Wait Daddy grabs the
edge of the boat and gets back in!! Wait he
helps the rest of the wrestlers throw out
Perseus!! Perseus was thrown at by about 3
guys!! That just leaves Lo Wang and
Gunslinger!! Gunslinger shakes hands with
Wang! Wait Gunslinger just dives into the
water!! Lo Wang wins!! Lo Wang is the NEW
Hardcore Champion!!!! I can not even explain
what happened here! Lets go to the Main
Event!! What a match!!
#5 TT: Reptile .v. EE: Dark Angel
(World Championship/Jumbo Cell/Weapons/Climb
to Hell Match)
GD: Well this will be GREAT! A cell about 40
feet tall will surround both men! Inside the
cell, there will be NO RING only a CONCRETE
FLOOR!! Now at the very top of the cell,
there is about a 9 foot square hole! Inside
the cell too there are TONS of weapons! No
ref inside! The only way to win is to climb
the cell AND then CLIMB on the ROOF of the
cell and go through the HOLE! But that is not
all! Once you are on top of the cell, you
will grab the World Title belt hung from a
rope above the Cell! The Prez has officially
called this match the Climb to Hell, because
he has told me someone will not make it out
in one piece!! MY GOD here we go!! Dark Angel
comes out first and he enters the "concrete
jungle"! Then "Lithium" by Nirvana
begins to play over the PA as Reptile enters
the cell. The bell rings and both men punch
it out! Kick by Reptile. Reptile slings Angel
into the cell! Diamond Cutter on the floor by
Reptile! Let me say there is ZERO padding on
that floor! Reptile picks up a basic chair
and nails Angel with it! Suplex on the floor
by Reptile. Stunner by Reptile. Reptile picks
up a baseball bat. He swings it at Angel, but
Angel moves. Drop Toe Hold to the floor by
Angel. Vertical Suplex on the floor by Angel.
Angel grabs the bat and clips Reptile with
the bat! Grapevine by Angel. Angel grabs a
lead pipe and nails Reptile with it! Angel
runs and uses the cell to do a Moonsault on
Reptile! Angel lays the chair down and Angel
hits a DDT on the chair on Reptile!
Figure-Four by Angel. Angel uses the cell for
leverage! Angel can have this on forever,
because no one can stop him! Angel lets go
after about a minute and a half! Angel stomps
on Reptile's knee and begins to climb the
cell. That is a long ways up. Angel is
halfway up. Wait he stops climbing and jumps
off with an Flying Elbow Drop to Reptile!!
BIG RISK there, but it paid off! Angel picks
up a singapore cane now. He goes to whack
Reptile with it, but Reptile kicks Angel low!
DDT on the floor by Reptile! Both men are
down! Reptile uses the cell to get up. Angel
is back up now. Tombstone on the floor by
Reptile! Reptile sets up a table and picks up
a stop sign. He nails Angel with it! Reverse
DDT by Reptile on the floor! Lion Tamer by
Reptile. Wait a minute, Reptile has bend
Angel too far over and Angel has got out of
the hold! Angel then uses his legs to monkey
flip Reptile! Angel gets up. Reptile gets up
now. Angel goes for a Hurricanrana, but
Reptile hangs onto Angel and sends him
through a table with a Powerbomb!! MY GOD
what a move! Reptile slams Angel onto a
chair! Super Kick by Reptile. Reptile now
makes a slow climb up the cell! Angel is up
now as Reptile is halfway up. Angel begins to
climb the cell. Angel has almost caught up
with Reptile. Reptile is almost to the top.
Angel has now caught up with him and has
grabbed Reptile. They are VERY high up! They
are fighting up there! Wait here they come
back down. Boht men are climbing down as they
both have ahold of each other. Both men jump
down to the floor now and they continue to
fight! Knee to the gut by Reptile. Piledriver
on the floor by Reptile! Wait what is this
now. It looks a member of the ring crew is
checking the cell. Wait he has poked a hole
though the cell! He climbs in!! Wait he rips
off his ring crew outfit and the man looks
like REPTILE! There are two Reptiles!! Wait
this one Reptile picks up a chair. The real
Reptile has not seen this other one. The fake
Reptile nails Reptile with the chair!!! Wait
now the fake Reptile the real Reptile out of
the cell through the hole poked by this fake
Reptile and lays down. Angel is up and he
sees the fake Reptile down. He does not know
that this is not the right Reptile.
Brainbuster to the fake Reptile by Angel!
Wait now Angel sees the real Reptile down
outside of the cell! Angel goes to the fake
Reptile and rips off his mask! It is REDMAN!!
MY GOD!! Wait The Epitaph by Angel on Redman
on the floor!! Redman is out!!! While this
goes on, the real Reptile has gotten up and
has started to climb the cell on the outside.
Now Angel starts to climb the cell. It is a
RACE to the top!! Reptile is almost to the
top from the outside. Angel is going the hard
way and he reaches the top of the cell!
Reptile is now on top of the cell! Angel now
crawls upside down on the roof of the cell!
Reptile goes over to where the belt is and
tries to get it. Wait now here comes Angel
through the hole in the roof and on top of
the cell! Angel grabs Reptile's foot before
he can get the belt! Reptile pounds on Angel.
They are 40 feet up!! Reptile picks up Angel
for a Death Valley Driver! Wait Angel
reverses it and lands back on his feet. The
Epitaph by Angel on Reptile on top of the
cell!!! Angel is not done though! Angel picks
up Reptile and throws him OFF THE TOP of the
cell 40 feet below through a table!!!!! MY
GOD!! I can not believe that!!! Reptile is
DEAD!! He has to be!! Wait Angel grabs the
Title!! Dark Angel wins!! Dark Angel is the
NEW World Champion!!! HOLY COW!! Here comes
some paramedics and Paladin, with his head
bandaged from the attck from Ego, and Pimp
come down to! Reptile has to be stretchered
out of the aren! Perseus, Scorcher, and
Walker are back from the WILD ride on the
boat!! They come down to help Dark Angel down
from the cell! We go backstage now and
Reptile is being put into an ambulance! Pimp
and Paladin close the doors and the ambulance
is about to drive off! Wait Kid Ego pops up
from the driver's seat and ATTACKS Reptile in
the ambulance!! Wait Ego pshes the strecther
out of the ambulance and drives off in the
ambulance before Pimp and Paladin could get
him!! MY GOD! What next! Wait here something
else has happened!! OH NO! This just
happened! Luckily cameras caught this, so
lets go to it! Well all we see is Dark Angel
talking to the rest of the Evil Empire in the
parking lot right after he has won the World
Title. Wait a limo pulls up right in front of
the Evil Empire. It is not for them. They
looked confused. Wait from behind Jayzon
Sanders nails Dark Angel with a crowbar to
the back of the head!! Before EE knows it,
they see Sanders laugh to the camera and take
off running! Scorcher and Walker begin to
chase after Sanders! They chase him off into
the darkness!! Meanwhile the limo drives on
through the parking lot as Perseus attends to
Dark Angel! I am out of breath, I have no
voice, and we are out of time!!! I will see
you Monday!! WHAT A NIGHT!!!
