FWA Friday Night Rampage (2/12/99)

 
[The screen turns black and the letters, 
F...W...A slowly make their way onto the 
screen. The letters explode into darkness as 
the word "RAMPAGE" can now be seen. While the 
FWA Theme plays over 
the PA, we are taken inside the arena where 
thousands of screaming fans are standing. The 
camera pans the crowd and brings us to the 
announcers table at ringside where Gary 
Dawson and Jim Wallace are standing.] 

GD: Welcome everyone to Friday Night 
Rampage!! We are live from !!! As always, I 
am joined by... 

JW: I am Jim Wallace. Tonight we have 4 more 
First Round World Tourny matches! We also 
have the Hardcore Title on the line and a 
Deadly Falls Match between the US Champion, 
Manyon, and Mr. Monday Night!! 

GD: OK Jim, lets stop the talk and go to the 
action!!

JW: Never thought I would hear that from GD!! 
HAHA!!

#1 MMI: Flash Flanagan .v. Steve Austin
(No DQ Match)

GD: Here we go. Austin punches Flanagan. Slam 
by Austin. Elbow Drop by Austin. Whip to the 
ropes and a Lou Thez Press by Austin. Suplex 
by Austin. Kicks and more punches by Austin. 
Flanagan rakes Austin's eyes. DDT by 
Flanagan.

JW: This is a fight!

GD: Side Walk Slam by Flanagan. Piledriver by 
Flanagan. Flanagan goes up top. He goes for a 
Frog Splash, but Austin moves out of the way. 
Kick and Austin goes for a Stunner, but 
Flanagan pushes Austin away. Kick and the 
Flash in the Pan by Flanagan!! 1, 2, 3!! 
Flanagan wins!!

#2 TTI: Tommy Taylor .v. Andre The Giant

GD: Andre attacks Taylor early. He pounds 
Taylor down to the ground. Leg Drop by Andre. 
Slam by Andre. He drops an elbow. Andre puts 
Taylor in the corner. He uses his back to 
splash Taylor in the corner. Andre chokes 
Taylor with his boot. Taylor is lifted about 
Andre's head and he slams him down. 

JW: Andre is using his size to dominate this 
one!

GD: Andre starts to climb the ropes now. He 
goes for a Giant Splash, but Taylor moves out 
of the way. Taylor is back up. He punches 
away at Andre. He tries to slam him, but he 
hurts his back. Andre nails Taylor. Andre 
picks up Taylor. Quick Drop Kick by Taylor. 
Hurricanrana by Taylor.

JW: I can't believe he got the big guy over!

GD: No WAY! Taylor is trying to use That's 
Tremendus on Andre. No he changes his mind, 
and roll Andre up! 1, 2, 3!! Taylor wins!!

JW: Taylor outsmarted Andre to win this one!

#3 IM: Gunslinger .v. MG: Rick Furious
(Amputation Match)

GD: Hanging above the ring is fire ax! The 
first one to grab the ax and then amputate a 
part of your opponent's body will win!! My 
GOD, I can not believe we are seeing this!

JW: HELL, I like it!!

GD: Here we go! Both men start off pounding 
on each other. There is a ladder outside the 
ring. Furious gets the advantage. Wait 
Furious wants to end this match early! He 
goes outside and grabs the ladder. He brings 
it inside. Gunslinger is back up. He punches 
away at Furious. Power Bomb by Gunslinger. 
Gunslinger gos outside ad grabs a chair. He 
nails Furious with it!! He sets up the 
ladder. 

JW: Here we go!! I like this action!!

GD: Splash by Gunslinger. DDT on the chair by 
Gunslinger! Gunslinger climbs the ladder. He 
grabs the ax!! 

JW: Here we go!! YEAH!!

GD: Wait here come the rest of MG to protect 
Furious!! Here come the rest of IM to protect 
Gunslinger!!

JW: All HELL is breaking loose now!

GD: We have a big fight in the ring now! The 
ax has been thrown out of the ring and the 
two stables fight to the outside and then to 
the back! The ref rings the bell!

JW: It looks like there will be no winner in 
this one!! Dang!!

#4 MG: Diamond Dogg .v. MMI: Big Daddy
(World Title Tourny/First Round)

GD: This should be a good match. They lock 
up. Knee by Daddy. Slam by Daddy. Daddy 
stomps on Dogg and drops an elbow. Daddy 
picks up Dogg and snake eyes him in the 
corner. Big Boot by Daddy. Side Walk Slam by 
Daddy. Daddy goes for a Jackknife, but Dogg 
backdrops Daddy. Clothesline by Dogg. 
Hurricanrana by Dogg. Suplex by Dogg. DDT by 
Dogg. 

JW: This men have gone back and forth!

GD: Dogg applies a Million $ Dream to Daddy! 
Wait Dogg rolls up Daddy! 1, 2, 3!!! Dogg 
wins!!!

JW: Very close match!!

#5 DX: Jayzon Sanders .v. Kane
(World Title Tourny/First Round)

GD: Kane goes after Sanders early. Slam by 
Kane. Leg Drop by Kane. Choke by Kane. He 
throws Sanders into the corner. Elbows by 
Kane. Knee by Kane. Kane goes for a Choke 
Slam, bu Sanders kicks Kane. Slam by Sanders.

JW: Sanders could have hurt himself there. 

GD: Suplex by Sanders. DDT by Sanders. Power 
Bomb by Sanders. Leg Drop by Sanders. German 
Suplex by Sanders. Sanders goes for the Prime 
Time, but Kane pushes Sanders away into the 
ropes. Kane grabs Sanders by the throat. Low 
Blow by Sanders. Prime Time by Sanders!! 1, 
2, 3!! Sanders wins!!

JW: When the World Title is up for grabs, you 
do anything to win. Sanders has shown me 
something here.

#6 MG: Paladin .v. The Franchise
(World Title Tourny/First Round)

GD: Paladin and Franchise fight it out. 
Franchise takes the advantage. 

JW: He wants to show something to everyone!

GD: Piledriver by Franchise. Slam by 
Franchise. Leg Drop by Franchise. Franchise 
goes for a DDT, but Paladin reverses it into 
a Northern Lights Suplex. Clothesline by 
Paladin. DDT by Paladin. Power Bomb by 
Paladin. German Suplex by Paladin. 
Neckbreaker by Paladin. Paladin goes for the 
Salvation, but Franchise blocks it. Knee by 
Franchise. DDT by Franchise! 1, 2, Paladin's 
foot is on the ropes!

JW: He almost had him there!!

GD: Franchise picks up Paladin. Rollup by 
Paladin! 1, 2, KICKOUT! Franchise goes for a 
clothesline, but Paladin ducks. Kick and the 
Final Act by Paladin!! 1, 2, 3!!! Paladin 
wins!!

JW: This match was close until the end, when 
Paladin got the win!

#7 MP: Puppetmaster .v. Super Fly
(World Title Tourny/First Round)

GD: Fly attacks Puppetmaster early. Slam by 
Fly. DDT by Fly. CLothesline by Fly. Suplex 
by Fly. Fly goes up top. Flying Body Press by 
Fly. Fly picks up Puppetmaster for a Running 
Powerbomb, but Puppetmaster reverses it into 
a Hurricanrana. Tilt-O-Whirl Backbreaker by 
Puppetmaster. German Suplex by Puppetmaster. 
DDT by Puppetmaster. Puppetmaster goes for 
The Carver, but here comes The Franchise!

JW: Wait here comes Beelbezub! He attacks 
Franchise before he could get to the ring!

GD: While they brawl on the outside, 
Puppetmaster uses The Carver on Fly! 1, 2, 
3!! Puppetmaster wins!!!!

JW: It looks Franchise had a plan, but 
Beelbezub stopped that!!

#8 Lance Manyon .v. TTI: Mr. Monday Night
(Non-Title/Deadly Falls Match)

GD: This match will be fought on top of a 
cell!! Around the cell down below, tables are 
everywhere! The first person to throw their 
opponent off the cell win!!!

JW: I like this match for two reasons! Lance 
Manyon is in it and it will be brutal!!! I 
love it!!!

GD: Mr. Monday Night makes his way to the 
ring.

JW: Wait here come Manyon!! He attacks MMN!!

GD: They are fighting on the outside. Manyon 
rams MMN into the guardrails. MMN fights 
back!

JW: Where are they going!

GD: They are headed to the back! They go 
right past locker rooms! Wait they took our 
cameraman out! We have lost connection folks!

JW: Ah Come On!! Get another camera back 
there!!

GD: Well that match has ended before it even 
began!! We are going to our next match now!

#9 TTI: Big Poppa Pimp .v. MMI: Syxx Pac
(Hardcore Title/Paramedics Match)

GD: This match is No DQ, anything can happen! 
The winner sends their opponent to the 
hospital!

JW: This will be GREAT!!

GD: Here we go! Both men punch it out! 
Clotheslin by Pimp. Russian Leg Sweep by 
Pimp. DDT by Pimp. Pimp throws Syxx Pac 
outside the ring. Pimp follows him. Syxx Pac 
fight back and slings Pimp into the steel 
steps! Syxx Pac grabs a chair. Pimp kicks 
Syxx Pac in the stomache. Piledriver on the 
floor by Pimp. Pimp throws Syxx into the 
crowd. He has the chair in his hands. Drop 
Toe Hold by Syxx.

JW: This is GREAT!! HAHA!!

GD: Syxx nails Pimpwith the chair! Syxx 
throws Pimp up the stairs. They fight their 
way to the concession stands! Hurricanrana by 
Syxx. Syxx throws Pimp on a table. Syxx gets 
on a stand and jumps off. Pimp moves out of 
the way, and Syxx goes crashing throught the 
table!! Pimp throws Syxx out the front door!

JW: MY GOD! They are outside!!

GD: Hurricanrana by Pimp. Suplex by Pimp. 
Pimp throws Syxx into a near-by car! Low Blow 
by Syxx!!

JW: That quickly and the match turns around!

GD: DDT on the car by Syxx!! Syxx drgas Pimp 
into an alley next to the arena. He throws 
Pimp into the brick wall!!

JW: What the HELL is this! Manyon and Mr. 
Monday Night are still fighting!! They run 
into the Syxx Pac and Pimp!! 

GD: HOLY COW!! All 4 men are now fighting! 
Mr. Monday Night grabs Manyon! Syxx Pac grabs 
Mr. Monday Night. Big Poppa Pimp has a chair! 
Low Blow by Manyon on Mr. Monday Night! 
Manyon ducks, and Pimp nails Syxx Pac with 
the chair against the brick wall!!! Syxx is 
busted open!! OH MY GOD!!!

JW: YEAH!!

GD: Syxx Pac's head is covered in blood!! 
That is it!! Here comes the paramedics!!! 
Pimp win!!

JW: What a match!!

GD: Syxx was against the wall and his head 
was drilled against it when Pimp nailed Syxx 
with the chair!! Syxx Pac is rushed to the 
outside and Pimp and MMN leave together, 
battered and bruised! Manyon leaves on his 
won too!! We are out of time!! For Jim 
Wallace I am Gary Dawson!! And we will see 
you Monday!!!!

JW: Do you ever shut up!!
