Episode 6

Gene Siskel vs. Roger Ebert
Jerry Lewis vs. Dean Martin
Spike Lee vs. Quenton Tarantino

This episode aired June 11th.

Siskel Vs. Ebert

Winner: Gene Siskel
Finishing Move: centrifugal thumb snap

In this variation of an Indian Strap Match, where the combatants normally have their arms tied together, Siskel and Ebert opted to instead tether their thumbs. The two stand around smacking each other, saying typical Siskel and Ebert things. Eventually, Siskel gets Ebert airborne, swinging him around by the thumb, but the centrifugal force is too great, and Ebert's thumb gives way, causing Ebert to fly from the ring, crashing into the balcony supports and giving Siskel the win.

Gene Siskel and Roger Ebert fight with those two legendary thumbs locked together. Panic breaks loose in the crumbling balcony after the strap match goes terribly wrong.

Lewis Vs. Martin

Winner: Dean Martin
Finishing Move: Over the top throw

Serving as guest coaches are the late Sammy Davis Jr. and the late Frank Sinatra. Jerry acts like an idiot while Dean is drunk on martinis. Jerry starts to punch Dean. Dean goes over to Sinatra, his coach, and Sinatra smacks Dean a couple of times. That makes Dean ready and he throws Lewis over the top

Jerry Lewis gets confrontational with Dean Martin in this black and white clip "from the vaults".

Lee Vs. Tarantino

Winner: nobody
Finishing Move: none

Highlights from this match include both men picking up guest referee Woody Allen to use as a weapon against the other, and then Woody turning around and kicking both men down after Sun Lee tells him he won't get any loving if he doesn't show some guts.

Woody Allen keeps the peace while Spike Lee and Quenton Tarantino prepare to rumble.
