WHO IS SIMON POSFORD?

This is going to be a very rough attempt to try and list all of the works with other artists that Simon Posford has done.

Simon Posford (Hallucinogen) put out his debut single "LSD" in 1994 on Dragonfly records, followed by Fluoro Neuro Sponge in 1995, paving the way for the now legendary and ground breaking masterpiece "Twisted" album in October of that year, setting the standard for the then burgeoning Trance scene, showing him to be a true pioneer and master of his art.

At the end of 1996, following their successful working partnership at dragonfly, Simon Posford (Hallucinogen) and Simon Holtom (ex Dragonfly label manager) launched Twisted Records primarily in order to release hallucinogens own material and collaborations. Other artists soon became interested in recording for the new label.

------========#Ç$%&*Þ$#¦%^$&-Ç#$%========------

  • "Shpongle" - Simon and Raja Ram
  • "Anubis" - Simon and Chris Deckker (Vocals by Neera)
  • "Infernal Machine" - Simon and Dick Trever (GNOTR)
  • "Beast" - Simon and Sean Williams (Process)
  • "Walter Ego" - Simon and…. (Solo?)
  • "Subkha" - Simon and Sheldon Isaacs
  • "Nomads of Dub" - Simon and Nick Barber (Doof)
  • "Celtic Cross" - Simon and Youth

    And others.....

    Simon has engineered many tracks for the Infinity Project, as well as the whole "Mystical Experiences" album from Tip Records working with Raja Ram.

    Simon worked with Olli Wisdom from Space Tribe to create "Flipout the Dolphin" and "In the Hands of the Shaman". "In the Hands of the Shaman" was released on the Space Tribe CD titled "Sonic Mandala". A very nice track indeed. These two tracks are VERY similar, and it seems that "In the Hands of the Shaman" is simply a remix with not a lot of noticeable difference.

    Simon wrote the track "Mandala" by Utopia with M. Glover and "Dig a Jig" with Chester of Baba G. Both of these titles are featured on Dragonfly Classix.

    Gumbo is another project. It was written by Simon, engineered by "space", contains vocals by Sophie Barker, flute by kate holmes and gumbo by Rob.

    Growlmonizer - Growlmonizer(1998, TIP), self titled track, written by Riktam & Bansi(Growling Mad Scientists both) and Simon. "It's on Tip Singles 3, it's pretty much is the same vein as all the tracks on there, hard(ish), and quite full on psytrance. Twisted as ever. Not one of Posford's best tracks, but still good!"
