Wilby's Twisted Head (con't)
by Arden Davidson (C) 1998
"Are you gonna give up staring?",
questioned Gobblit with a grunt.
"I'll never stare or gawk again.
I like my face in front."
And Wilby kept his promise
all that day and from then on.
His staring days were over
and his gawking days were gone.
'Cause Wilby realized when you stare
at others, this is true:
They have just as many reasons
to be staring back at you.
