Pudgel's Smelly Problem (con't)

"My friend, don't you know that pleasure like that
doesn't last", Wilby said to his chum.
"And when it does things that make you act crazy,
it's no longer fun, it's just dumb."

"Oh, Wilby", sighed Pudgel, "you are absolutely right.
"I'm so sorry I stole your pie."

"Well as long as it doesn't happen again, I'll
forgive you."
They started to cry.

Soon Pudgel forgot all about her nose-bumping,
and smelled smells as nature intended.
Her crazy obsession was over for good
and her pie-stealing days had long ended.

Pudgel knows now that though things smelled sweeter at first,
the fun was gone quick as a wink.
Because sweet smells are fine every once in a while,
but when they become problems, they stink!
