I, Chief Albert Wright have been with the Luxora Police Department for fourteen years and have been the chief for the past eight years. This is a small town with crime like any other town, but for the past eight years our crime rate is down by 55%.
Due to myself and my great officers, but this could not have taken place without our great mayor Lloyd Brinkley and
our city council members backing us 100% by providing us with funds and equipment.
Luxora Police Department Mission Statement:
To encourage increasing the professional competency of law enforcement officer in the City of Luxora, State of Arkansas, by providing standards for employment and training and by conducting or stimulating studies and research designed to improve the administration of law enforcement and implementing the commission's regulations.
