Lum and Abner's

Wonderful World

This site is about the Old Time Radio show, Lum and Abner.  The show was about two old hillbilly characters named Lum Edwards (Chester Lauck) and Abner Peabody (Norris Goff).  Other characters include (who were also voiced by Lauck & Goff) Squire Skimp, Cedric Weehunt, Granpappy Spears, Dick Huddleston, and many others.  The show was set around a "Jot'em down store" in the small town of Pine Ridge, Arkansas.  The show started in 1931 and lasted until 1954.
