here is an interview with lord offel a brutal black metal band from israel the band formed in 1995 as a death metal band called brutal war the line up was :noam,shay,avi,and toni they released an album called "brutal war" and then toni and avi left the band after a wile they changed their name to "lord offel" and now the line up was:
MELECH ARAFELL-GUITARS AND VOCALS [NOAM S.]
MALANOCH-DRUMS AND B.VOCALS [SHAI H.]
many members have joined the band but left or was kicked out but noam and shai steel remain in the band and they are now in this line up
they have released one reharshal tape and then released their first demo "empire of blood" then the second demo "in the name of darkness"
[wich is their best one and its sold out] and then the ep called symphony for satan" and now they are about to release a new demo/promo

noam-me and shai are both came from a band called "brutal war",we both was members in this band and we left the band and dicieded to form a black metal band wich we called lord offel,we had lots of players but eventually they all left and we stayed a 2 members band,we formed lord offel somthing like 3 and a half years ago and since then we released 2 tapes one rearshal and one demo and and after a long time we releasing a new demo
blood-what do you planing on doing in the future?
noam-doing a copel of live shows and releasing some albums
blood-what do you think about the israeli metal scene this days?
is there any future for an israeli band or only copel of bands relly gonne "make it"?
noam-in my point of view i think thet theres copel of good band thets sound preety good for an "israeli band",i'm preety setesfied from the bands in israel,theres a copel of bands thet relly influenced lord offel,i'm talking about bands such as:melechesh,enochian key,grimoire,
and paganist.some are none better and some are not.
the israeli black metal scene is not relly "black metal" in most case's,evryone thet think's he cake make a black metal band form a band start screeming at the microphon and thinking to himself "graet i'v got a black metal band" and it's relly not it......
most of the bands just coming screeming and going,and there's the satanisem part,most of the bands say's thet they are satanist just to make an impretion and they are not satainst and its seems preety stupid to me,we are from "rehovot" thet's the kind of place's thet no one relly think thet there gonne be a black metal band in here,
but there's some places in israel thet i can honstly say there's lot's of black metal bands,place's like:herzelia,haifa,and rishon le zion,
but had belived thet there is a brutal black metal band from "rehovot"
like ourselvs...
blood-how do you doing with the other bands in rehovot?massing with you'r teretory or do you getting along with them?
noam-listen....most of the bands here are this "israeli rock" type and there's copel of death metal bands but with most of them we doing well but there's a band in here thet we always had fight's with them
"agnosia" a death metal band with suck a vocals,but with the rest we doing ok...
blood-do you got a political side?
noam-yes,look we feel relly strong about doing the miletry service and what's going on around here is a bunch of "hardim" thet try to make evryone to be as they are,and the goverment dont do anything against it! thet's the sort of stuff we have political masseg's abot but we relly not into politics
blood-ok,what does lord offel thinks about today's black metal?is it a good thing thet black metal becom a trand or is it bad?
noam-look,black metal used to be a relly cool thing in the old days there was bands who knew what they are doing,but as i said there are so many bands today thet call's their selve's "black metal" but they are not... the black metal has becom a trand and thet's suck,thet's our opinun about black metal,we like this music,this is the music we grow up on and most of our famely's listen to it and it "got" us too

noam-verry bad.....
blood-what do you think about evil and good?i meen like this supertitions of thet the light and day belongs to the "good side"
and thet the darkness and night belongs to the "evil side" is there any true in this thing's for you or is it bullshit?
noam-i think thet the darkness and light are butifull thing's,and there is true in this thing it's defntlly not bullshit!
blood-most of the black metal bands are satanist,what do lord offel belives in?
noam-i belive in satan but i do not worship him!,just follow his path,
shai belive in a suprim power thet's rules evrything
blood-mabey you can tell me why does black metal bands wear whit make up wich seem preety pathetic to me,i ones heared thet it helps them free the iner demon inside them is it true,do you belive in thet too?
noam-in my opinun it's give's them a feeling of suprimesy in a kind of way,it's like "i'm a satanist i wear make up and i satan will give me power",we had a time when we wear make up too but its over now cuz we sick of it it's stupid,i dont think thet to play black metal you need to wear make up and we stoped using nick name's too,if "dissection" can use their real names so do we!

i'v heared thet you gonne release a new demo can you tell our readers what it will fetur?
noam-in the new demo there's 6 songs half new songs and half old songs
most of the songs are new covers for our old songs like "empire of blood" and "symphony for satan" there's a song in hebrew and one more song my frind woroth for us,when we got into the studio we recorded 14 songs but we dicieded to release only 6 of them cuz the rest was'nt recorded to well.....
