Israel's Black/Death Metal band DarkSoul has just realeased first demo. This interview is taking
by their guitarist and member of Metal Vision Staff.. Few word's about DarkSoul, their future and their
personal view's at certain thing's.
Interview taken by V.K. (on August 30'th 1999)

: DarkSoul is not very known band among the metalheads. To start this Interview could you
introduce yourself and your band?
Blood: yes,i'm blood guitarist and songwriter of darksoul,in the year of 92'' we formed a band called
"destruction" released a demo and broke up in 94'' back then i had another band
but i decided in the 96'' to quit from all the bands and work on a main band with my
friends which was the same members of destruction we formed a band called flames and start
doing rehearsal's and recording tapes after a while we changed our name for couple of times until
we called the band darksoul and started to get known around the israeli scene we released
some rearshal tapes and the rest is history we about to release our debut demo this days
V.K.: DarkSoul released their debut demo, could you tell me more about it?
Blood: well its a very brutal metal music you can find there all our old and known songs like face of death ,
execution,christian bloody christian and couple of new songs
the music is black/death with influences from old school thrash metal and dark atmosphere's
V.K.
: The vocals on the demo are very Black Metallish, can DarkSoul's music be labeled as Black metal?
Blood: well i dont think so...cuz we dont believe in lucifer and the horned devil which are the satan
of the old black metallers we believe in another satan hehe our satan
is "hilel ben sachar" and we belive in the dark angels samael and azazel

: What DarkSoul's main influences? or your very own influences.
Blood: well we all like different music i tell you about our main influnces we all like bands such as: venom,overkill,carcass,death,mayhem,samael,manowar[their old material],isangard
,darkthrone,melechesh,salem,and stuff like thet basiclly
V.K.
: you have mentioned Samael few times what it's for you? i mean as a band or it's something else?
Blood: well samael the band are very good band and i like them a lot
but i meant "samael" the satanic angel the warior of the after world he is more
powerfull then all the other satanic angels and some says he is more powerfull
then satan and pazuzu togeter
we also believe in a god the same god of most of the jews but in a diffrent way the ancient way i
belive thet he have no comption no one is stronger then him and he is the most evil one
and powerfull one(Basiclly Blood means paganism-V.K.)
V.K.
: Have you done any Live concert's? and if you have please tell me about your live appearance.
Blood: well i did couple of live shows but not with darksoul we didnt did any live show
but we got plans to do some in the future
V.K.: Inspiration comes mainly from?
Blood: death and brutal black metal no argue about that
V.K.
: Lyrics and Music, how do you combine both things?
Blood: well we write lyrics or music then try to put them togeter in most
cases the lyrics comes first cuz we relly care from what lyics
giving to ppl to read we dont want them to get the wrong impression
we want them to see the real darksoul
V.K.
: Your view on todays Metal scene? what do you think about trends? Which bands you think are trendy?
Blood: todays metal scene is stupid only few bands are for real the others are bunch of pathetic
wimps they call themself "metal" but look at their music its not metal they only like to be scary
and it''s not gonna happen.....what i think about trend well it suck's its really destroy''s
black metal......i dont like to put any band's down its false but i'm totaly against christian metal
fuck'em all they must die!
V.K.: A lot of metal bands especially Black/Death metal band's have very religious lyrics and imagery
does DarkSoul have anything to do with religion?
Blood: yes darksoul are religiouse to their beliefes but we are not missioners we
dont want ppl to belive in what we belive if they dont born this way so
darksoul are not gonne write about our religion only pure 666% metal
V.K.
: What are your personal view on religion? band's view on religion?
Blood: i dont know about other bands but i dont mind what ppl will believe in as long as they
dont try to make me one of them that pisses me off and i hate christians mostly becuz
of their religion and that they are trying to make evryone believe in their god made of stone
and they dare calling us stone worshipers this fag''s....

: Politics is another song that appeared within the metal scene recently, do you have any political view?
does the band?
Blood: well what can i tell you i'm preety happy by the way things are going in israel all our
fucking government think they gonna make peace and i laugh at those idiots cuz they cant
even do peace here in this contry theres a lot of murder's and death and stubbing and
all thet shit which i enjoy seeing well darksoul dont really care about politics and so i am too
dont give a fuck but i think its good ppl write about this stuff its helps them release anger and violence

: Do you have any hobbies other then music?
Blood: yes i'm playing football and i like to read books about spells and shit
i also have an hobby to wacth horror movies and all this stuff i like it
V.K.
: Drug or alcohol? any fun?
Blood: hahaha pure alcohol runs through my veins,i havent used any kind
of drugs since 97'' well exept ciggarets if you calling it a drug but i''m
totally suporting to ppl to use drugs

: What do you think about the church burnings in Norway, Russia and other countries world wide?
Blood: well i HAIL all those who do it and i have full support in them i hate christian in
the blood,i think i only have respect for Varg Vikernes becuz he have done this thing''s and all the
others i think its good! all the power to this guys

Blood: yes! thanx vadim very much long live metal vision and hails!
the only thing i want to say now is that darksoul are anti gays,anti christians,and
anti israel and all this stupid zionic's who are so proud of israel but it suck and the israeli
black metal scene become a trend too, except for couple of true bands like arallu,melechesh,salem,lehavoth
and lord offel which i totally support!
