Powers: Vaalor had telescopic vision, could teleport by warping time and space and he could swap minds and bodies with other sentients.History: (Action Comics #576) - Vaalor was a rookie superhero who learned of the Vorons plans to attack Earth. He confronted them in Metropolis, but they covered him in metal, making him into an immobile statue. In desperation he switched minds with Superman and tried to defeat the Vorons, but he wasn't used to Supes powers and couldn't round up the aliens. Jimmy Olsen remembered that the Vorons were vulnerable to ultrasound, so he set off his signal-watch, which freed Vaalor's body from its encasing. Superman and Vaalor teamed up to defeat the Vorons, and then Vaalor put Superman's mind back in its proper body. Vaalor felt bad about rashly switching minds with Superman, but Supes thought the rookie was worthy, and made a statue of him to stand in Metropolis.
