He disguised himself as a U.S. soldier and approached Clark kent, who he knew was secretly Superman, with a document detailing what he knew. Superman stopped the first missile the survivalists activated from being set off, but when he interviewed the Pentagon and told them what he knew they were ready to detain him. The Soldier appeared as a general and demanded his release. Superman tracked down the survivalists to the Canadian tundra, but they activated missiles around the globe when he burst in on them. Superman strained himself to the limit to stop every one of them, and the Unknown Soldier descended on the survivalists, and handed them over to the U.S. military. Clark visited the grave of the Unknown Soldier, and laid flowers at his grave, thanking him for helping to save the world. The Soldier watched on, disguised as a nearby cemetery worker, and was proud of what they’d accomplished that day.
