He exposed Swami's thievery and gave him a thrashing, but the hostess of the party told Terrific she would be terribly embarrassed if it got out she'd hired a crook for her party. Terrific, taking pity on the socialite, told the audience that Swami stealing from them and the fight between Swami and him was all an act. He then warned Swami to leave town, but Swami stuck around, not willing to give up his lucrative gig, and he started planning Terrific's murder. Terrific got wind of Swami's scheme, and hired him for a surprise party for his secretary Wanda Wilson. At the party Terrific once again caught Swami stealing, and after another beating he turned Swami over to the authorities.
