History: Starfire's planet was like Earth in many ways, but it possessed advanced technology, inventions fueled by the rivalry between ruling classes of priests. One faction of priests summoned the Mygorg from the nether void to act as their soldiers, and their enemies summoned the alien Yorg. The aliens realized they were more powerful than their masters, and turned against them, enslaving Starfire's plasnet. Starfire was brought as an infant to the Mygorg to be raised as a slave. At the age of eighteen she escaped captivity and learned freedom and the martial arts from renegade priest Dagan. She fell in love with Dagan, but he was captured by the Mygorg and tortured to death, leading Starfire to lead a rebellion against her planet's alien masters.
