History: (Secret Origins of Super-Villains 80-Page Giant #1 (fb, BTS)) - Siren was rumored to be the offspring of a voudou spirit and a mortal man possessed by lwa Gede. Siren was content to live in bodies of water and protect them from human interference, but a newfound ambition caused her to come into conflict with Tempest.

(Secret Origins of Super-Villains 80-Page Giant #1) - Vandal Savage freed Siren from D.E.O. custody and offered her membership in Tartarus. She accepted, and he promised Siren and the other members an opportunity to control mankind’s destiny.
