History: (Fables # 49) - While on the run from Fabletown, Bigby took up residence in a remote are of Alaskan woods. When Mowgli finally found him, Bigby has taken on a lover, Sarah Tanaraq. Sarah was understandably surprised when she returned from bringing supplies up from the town to find a guest in their cabin. She was even more surprised that Mowglie was a man because she always figured that when Bigby left, it would be due to the woman he has been drinking so hard to forget. Knowing about parts of his past, mainly the wife and children part, she (in essence) took care of Bigby by keeping available to him food and whiskey. Even thought she thought he drank too much, she had little voice in what Bigby did. Even thought Bigby assured Mowglie that Sarah knew nothing of his past, wife and children not withstanding, Mowglie still had to conduct an interview of sorts with her to determine how much she really knew, especially about him being a Fable. When Mowgli approached her, she was brushing her horse and he managed to spin the entire ordeal as Bigby being some sort of government agent who was needed for some super secret mission. This surprised her, since the reason he had to leave was less reliant on the other woman than she had thought. She asked that if Mowgli was there to take him, that he would do it quickly. As day turned to evening, which lent into night, Mowglie sat on a rock outside the cabin, waiting for Bigby to say his goodbyes. The breakup was less than amicable, and Sarah returned to her village, with her horse.
