History: (Superman's Girl Friend Lois Lane #136) - An unstable young woman named Marcia proposed to Superman. After being rebuffed she suffered a nervous breakdown and spent some time in a mental institution before breaking out. She donned a robe, posed as a man and became the Revenger, a villain driven to kill anyone Superman was in love with. She believed that Superman might marry her if Lois Lane was out of the picture. Superman found out about the Revenger's scheming, and in order to protect Lois he publicly broke up with her and pretended to be engaged to Wonder Woman. Revenger sent her Sky-Sniper's to kill Wonder Woman, but they failed. She kidnapped Lois Lane and put her in a death trap, but Lois was saved by her friend Melba. Revenger posed as Lois Lane and gave Wonder Woman a jewel necklace to wear, the jewel being coated in poison. Wonder Woman was saved by the real Lois and Revenger was sent off to receive psychiatric care.

Due to the Crisis on Infinite Earths, Revenger's existence was erased from DC continuity.

Comments: Created by Cary Bates, John Rosenberger & Vinnie Colletta

It's been established that most pre-Crisis stories involving Superman have been erased from DC continuity, so I assume the Revenger no longer exists in the post-Crisis DCU.
