Powers: Ramulus could mentally control mechanized plants of his own invention. He frequently utilized giant vines, his Tendrils of Terror.

History: Nightshade created an army of electronic plants and terrorized upstate New York until he was confronted by the Sandman and seemingly killed by his own plants.

Nightshade somehow survived, and was given mental control over his plants by Aztec priestess Nyola. He took the identity of Ramulus and joined Mr. Mind's Monster Society, but was defeated by the All-Star Squadron.
