Powers: Punch Parker was a skilled detective and brawler, and he was armed with a handgun.

History: (World's Best Comics #1) - A medical import company hired Punch Parker to recover a million dollars worth of radium that was stolen from them. Punch investigated the crime scene, determined it was the work of his old enemy Clipper Donlin, and noticed that someone had broken the lead seal containing the radium. Punch went to an underworld bar, saw Clipper, and knew he had his man when he noticed radiation burns on his hand. Punch socked him, dragged him to his car, and handcuffed him to the dashboard, demanding to know who hired him. Punch promised Clipper immunity, so the crook revealed that Doc Pear had hired him, wanting radium for his experiments in creating life. Punch confronted Pear in his lab, but he slipped on spilled chemicals on the floor, allowing Pear to brain him and make his escape. Punch recovered quickly, and as Pear sped off in his car he shot out one of the tires. After flooring Pear with a punch he handed Clipper and the Doc over to the medical import company.
