Powers: Professor Jung was one of the world’s foremost animal trainers, and had four jaguars at his disposal that he taught to obey commands in German. Jung was skilled at constructing booby traps, and was armed with a rifle. His incisors were filed into fangs.

History: (Star Spangled Comics I #6) - Professor Jung was a German immigrant who traveled to Costa Blanca to continue his experiments on animal training. The pinnacle of his success was four jaguars he’d taken from the jungle and trained to obey him when he used German commands. His work was disturbed by an Ally defense base being built in Costa Blanca, so he repeatedly sent his jaguars out to kill the laborers building the base. The Costa Blanca military called U.S. army man Armstrong to investigate, and he soon ran into Jung. Armstrong pursued him into the jungle only to be caught in a pitfall trap, and Jung pulled a gun on him, and marched him to his subterranean base. Jung couldn’t continue his experiments with the hemisphere base being built nearby, and planned to flee Costa Blance. Armstrong realized he’d taught the jaguars German, so he commanded them in German to attack their master. Jung was mauled to death, and the hemisphere base was safe again.
