(Challengers of the Unknown I #1) - The British Museum sent Eureka off on an expedition, and he and his companion got lost in the desert. The heat made them see mirages, with Eureka seeing a waterfall and his British companion seeing a large cup of tea.
(Challengers of the Unknown I #6) - Eureka invented a robot, and took him to the science hall to show him off, but when it started raining he rushed him home to get an umbrella so his robot wouldn't rust.
(Challengers of the Unknown I #8) - Prof. Eureka's colleague had a new explosive formula he said would put his lab on the map. The explosive chemicals blew up the lab, and Eureka quipped that he'd certainly put pieces of his lab on the map.
(Challengers of the Unknown I #18) - A fellow scientist called Professor Eureka to tell him he saw a possible alien outside his window. Eureka went to investigate and found a giant shoe. He surmised that it belonged to a gigantic alien, but nearby workers told him it was a sign they were putting up for a shoe repair shop.
