Powers: The Planeteer had vast control over magnetism, able to manipulate any metallic objects.

History: 

(Action Comics I #562) - Queen Bee created magnetic fields in Metropolis, allowing the Planeteer to escape his prison. He confronted Superman to extract revenge, but after immobilizing him Queen Bee approached him and offered him to be her king. In truth she was only interested because he was a constant source of magnetic energy, which she needed to remain mobile, and he was only interested in her because she offered him immortality. Superman confronted them and defeated them with a belt that reversed the polarity of his body and negated their powers.
