Powers: Persuader was a skilled fighter who possessed enhanced strength. He wielded the Atomic Ax, a weapon that could cut through virtually anything, including gravity and space-time.

History: <30th Century> Persuader gained a reputation as one of the universe's most dangerous criminals, organizing protection rackets or acting as an enforcer for various criminal organizations. When the Sun-Eater threatened the entire Milky Way galaxy the Legion of Super-Heroes recruited Persuader and four other criminals to form the Fatal Five and help combat it. The Fatal Five helped destroy the Sun-Eater and won pardons for their heroic deed.

Persuader battled the Legion of Super-heroes numerous times as a member of the Fatal Five. When the Five's agenda didn't coincide with his own he pursued his own criminal activities.

Due to the events of Zero Hour Persuader's history was erased from DC continuity.
