Powers: The Oracle was an energy being contained in a stone statue and manifested as a humanoid female. The source of its power were its ruby eyes, which contained untold occult knowledge. The Oracle could summon guardians and drain life energy from victims.

History: (Claw the Unconquered #5) - The Oracle possessed untold occult knowledge, and kept its power from those who would use it. The Oracle manifested as a stone statue of a dragon hidden deep in its' shrine, and chose Mlrssa, a comely female form as a manifestation that guarded the shrine. Scholar Safa Ghul craved the Oracle's knowledge, and sent Claw the Unconquered and his friend Ghilkyn to claim it. Oracle's female form, claiming to be a slave bound to the shrine, showed them the body of the last adventurer to seek the Oracle's power. They did not heed her, and found the Oracle, and when they refused to leave it summoned a giant crustacean guardian. Claw maneuvered himself under the creature, so he could stab it in its' unprotected underbelly. Mlrssa said she was free now, and told Ghilkyn he deserved a reward. He gladly accepted her kiss, but the life began to drain from him, and Claw forced her from him. She revealed herself as a manifestation of the Oracle, and Claw fought her off while Ghilkyn pried out the statue's eyes, the source of its' life, destroying the Oracle's essence. Ghul was pleased with the transaction, but when he attempted to access the Oracle's knowledge by placing the rubies over his eyes the power destroyed him
