History: (Action Comics #566) - For 500 years the Old Lady protected Andros Island from sailors seeking the fountain of youth, wishing to keep it only for herself. When the sailor Strong washed ashore they became companions and she shared the fountain with him. Strong's son Captain Strong, along with Lois Lane and Clark Kent, made it to Andros despite the Old Lady's best attempts to kill them because Clark secretly used his superpowers to foil her. On the island Clark used his heat vision on one of the Lady's potions, causing an explosion that destroyed the fountain of youth. She conjured a magical duplicate of Superman, but Captain Strong defeated him because her powers were ebbing. With the fountain destroyed she crumbled to dust.
